An embarrassment for democracy. The result of the majority party doing exactly what they're expected to do and can do, legally: solidifying power. Legislators should not draw legislative maps. My SJR 8 would put that question to the voters next November.

There is a misconception that the costs of expanding Medicaid in TX could swallow our state budget whole. Not so. In reality, TX would pay just 10% of the costs, while the federal government would pick up the remaining 90%. Thanks to the @NDCC for hosting this important event.
