I've sadly had to turn #Corrie off tonight. I don't know what is happening to the programme, but it has lost its way. Some stand-out actors and characters remain but are sadly sidelined & diluted by others. I lasted 20 minutes, but the whinging kid had me reaching for the remote.

I liked this a lot. The 1st character to set foot on the new #EastEnders set just HAD to be Sharon! 💅 Weaving a little "in-joke" between someone who was IN the 1st ep. and a character who we found out was to to be born in #1 was a deft nod to the old lot, and a hello to the new.

Another #OnThisDay , and quite an important one for us interested in TV presentation & brand identity! The "1" symbol was gone as the @BBCOne Balloon took its maiden flight on Saturday 4/10/1997. This stunning look sadly lasted less than 5 years and has not been matched since.

The Christmas lights may have been put away for another year, but Winchester Cathedral was beautifully illuminated as the sun sets. Clear blue skies, bitterly cold, and a rich orange hue. Here's to more photography in 2024. I hope my captures bring a little joy to some.
