@Global_Smith John Bonham was my neighbour and I was a saturday girl in his parents shop. John when he was home would practice on his drums in their garden shed which used to upset the neighbours a lot. John was very cool, naughty, cheeky and different. He was never going to be a builder.

@SadiqKhan Makes me smile. The menopause takes years, it's not a one off event. Millions of women work through it. Some women have an easy time other less so. Something else for employers to negotiate. At this rate women will be unemployable.

@juneslater17 Just like my dear friend who has covid at the moment. She said "I was booked for my 6th. But couldn't go because I went down with this. My husband had his last week, so hasn't got it" I answered do you think it possible you caught it off him? My reply fell on deaf ears.

@juneslater17 Yes it is disgusting, no wonder our generation feel semi detached from this awful government. We have been utterly fleeced and betrayed. No wonder many of the over 50's have given up on working. I wouldn't want to pay a single penny more in tax than needed for them to squander.

@juneslater17 I have witnessed some appalling private rentals, unfit for human habbitation. Owned by a very rich landlords. The rental market really needs to clean up their act. Maybe expectations are too great by government. There must be a middle ground.

@CartlandDavid A family member was in hospital from June to October 2020. It was mostly quiet. Staff problems were mostly due to their own sickness leave. Leaving others to cover shifts.

@CartlandDavid Nikola is a friend of mine she and her group have fought so hard for recognition here. She had a severe anaphalactic reaction to her first AZ jab and has continuing health problems.She even lost her job in the health service for which she had tried to do the right thing.

@ManxRadio The greed of some people is breath taking. The worried well no doubt. We have had small supply sent by a relative in UK, where there does not appear to be a problem in obtaining them. Even the renal clinic here can't obtain let's for dialysis patients who are very vulnerable.

God it was difficult enough to get my 2 year old to wear hats and gloves in the winter. I think many of you have never been parents. People who have never had children always think they can do it better. Children under 5 are not required to wear masks.

@elizfulop I support masks, but that is too young for a child to understand. If they want children to wear masks on the flights, they should increase the age a few years to where a child can understand why he/she has to wear one.

@juneslater17 As far as I am aware the heating needs to be left on the whole time, or can be turned on to holiday mode. If you switched it off it's quite difficult to switch on and needs a heating engineer to reset. What happens if you have a power cut, goodness knows.

@juneslater17 So few dogs are taught to walk to heel these days. But, are walked on those rediculous long leads. Fine for open spaces, but here people use them in pedestrian areas. They are so narrow I can't see them and have nearly gone arse over tip on several occasions. Stupid me.

@CartlandDavid It's like anything does for us ordinary folk now. I was told a Drs surgery has taken on a "doctors assistant". Being shown how to take BP, bloods, etc and sit in on consultations and write up notes on the computer. No medical training or even care experience.
