@SayaDoesStuff Jedi don't do this because it's viewed as dishonourable. Sith don't do it either because it's seen as a coward's technique. That said, in context, I can see why he opted for it, as it was the only way to finish the fight fast enough to save his apprentice.

Wait... Byleth outranges all the swords with Areadbhar and unquestionably wins head-on. Aymr is prone to counters, which practically every sword character carries. The weapon triangle made it to Smash, peeps.
