We are pleased to be a part of their tour to different geological formations throughout the Hudson Valley.
NYSBA advises motorists to avoid the Mid-Hudson Bridge & seek alternate routes today between 3-8 p.m. Heavy delays are expected due to a planned peaceful protest - also avoid the areas near the Church Street Arterial (44/55 East), Jefferson Street, and Market Street.

NYSBA was created by a bill signed into law on March 31, 1932 by then-Governor Franklin D. Roosevelt as a means to build a much-needed river crossing in the Catskill Region.

We’re excited to share the progress that was made at Kingston last night. The new cashless tolling gantry was installed. There is still work to be done, so we do not have an exact date; but the KRB will implement cashless tolling after the RVWB, which is scheduled for next month.

Scenes from last night as Mid-Hudson switched to a Cashless Tolling system. This is the last NYSBA bridge to make the switch. This toll plaza is scheduled for removal beginning next week. This area is an active work zone. We ask that all drivers follow the speed limit. (1/3)
The New York State Bridge Authority advises motorists to avoid the Mid-Hudson Bridge and to seek alternate routes.
There is no access to westbound or eastbound travel.
We will advise you as soon as traffic resumes.

Happy Falcon Friday, Hudson Valley! We caught our newest Mid-Hudson Bridge Peregrine Falcons enjoying a meal. We hope everyone has a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend!
Please be aware of and follow the traffic pattern while driving through the area for the Mid-Hudson Bridge. All vehicles are now traveling on the left, where Lanes 3, 4, & 5 used to be, so the contractor can safely remove Lanes 1 & 2 of the toll plaza.
📰 ICYMI: The E-ZPass network continues to grow! Starting on Aug. 2nd, E-ZPass will be accepted in express lanes in Minnesota.

Route 9D travelers, traveling westbound, please observe the new traffic pattern. All drivers will now proceed in the furthest left lane (south side of the North Span). The days/times remain in effect for merging with I-84 (details⬇️)
Due to increased foot traffic on July 4th, measures will be in place to ensure the safety of pedestrians on the paths at the Rip Van Winkle, Kingston-Rhinecliff, Mid-Hudson, Newburgh-Beacon, and Bear Mountain Bridges.
We may see some much needed melting of snow today. Be aware of potential hazardous road conditions, especially after the temperature begins to drop this evening.

As our first major snowstorm approaches the Hudson Valley, we ask our patrons to drive safely.
For the safety of everyone on the road - Please remember to clear the snow from the top of your vehicle.
Newburgh Beacon Bridge: High Winds with lightweight, high profile vehicle restrictions in effect. Lightweight, high-profile vehicles include empty box trucks, empty tractor trailers and motorcycles.
Your NYSBA Maintenance personnel, Brian & Shawn, have finished removing debris from the entire rock shelf. This week, they are clearing all vegetation and rocks/boulders along the lower level of the eastbound rock cut.
The NBB toll plaza went dark early this morning as cashless tolling (or AET) began at our busiest facility. Patrons will no longer stop at the plaza. Please keep in mind, this is an active work zone and the posted speed limit should be followed.
