I work in downtown #Portland . I have for 15 years. The campus where I work is safe and sound. The buildings are not on fire. There is not lawlessness in the streets. Most folks are still social distancing and trying to stay home. Like every other city in the United States.

It got up to 115 in Portland today. We have central air so we’re doing good but we noticed a neighbor struggling to stay cool on his porch. We were able to locate an old window unit of ours and install it at his house. Neighbor was so happy for him/his pets that he nearly cried.

A few weeks ago my poor girl Gabby was diagnosed with Lymphoma. She was a rescue who had been returned and just needed some love. I fought hard to keep her alive but tonight my poor girl passed over. For 12 years we loved her, cared for her. I am sorry I could not do more. ❤️
