The Lake Pontchartrain Causeway Bridge North is closed to traffic due to dense fog. Motorists are advised to use an alternate route: I-10 East to the Twin Span Bridge or I-10 West to I-55 North.

I-10 East is closed to traffic at milepost 213 on the (Bonnet Carre Spillway Bridge) due to a fire. Traffic is being diverted on to exit 209 (US 51). Congestion from this incident has reached two miles.

LADOTD announces that a temporary pedestrian ferry is now in service in Jean Lafitte. Due to the LA 302 bridge receiving extensive damage from Hurricane Ida, the ferry will allow pedestrians to reach each side of Bayou Barataria. (see link for details).
