You can learn as many setups as you want... but until you LEARN to EXIT losing trades you will be stuck in "TRADERS HELL" Remember this... the more you lose in a trade, the less objective you become. EXITING a losing trade quickly clears your head and restores your objectivity.

Trading Tip: If you trade momentum, put up an 8 EMA. Notice on your winning trades the angle of the moving average. It's always going in the direction of your winning trades. You will never miss a big move if you trade in the direction of the 8 EMA. Test it, you will see.

If you're not profitable, you need as much practice as possible. I've been in this business since 1988, and there is a direct correlation to winning traders. The winning traders spend more time in Replay and Playback mode practicing. Successful trading is earned, not bought.

Almost everybody I meet or interact with makes trading so complicated and convoluted. I'm like WTF... Just follow the 8 EMA... If you are on the wrong side of it's slope, then you are gonna be the loser. You don't need to be right on all your trades, but ride your winners.

I'm a 33% trader... for every two losses, I'm wrong 66% of the time, and I have one winner for 33% of wins. I've programmed my mind to accept this, and it is complete freedom because it releases the need to be RIGHT, and I know what to expect. 80% or 90% winners is a FANTASY!

Most Scalpers scalp because they trade out of FEAR. Oh, I got $100 bucks I better take it. Grabbing a few ticks is a FEAR based strategy. Scalpers can't deal with their emotion control. Scalpers don't know how to handle a winning trade and FEAR giving back any profit.

Trading is about being on the right side of the flow. Itโ€™s that simple. You people make it complicated. Take an 8 EMA โ€ฆ trade against it, and see what happens. You will lose your a$$ trading against over time. If you trade with it, you can make a good living.

Trading is a game of stop-losses and mistakes. If you don't make big mistakes and keep losses small, you will make profits. The hardest thing in trading is letting your trades run so you can accumulate profits. If you don't let your trades run, you can't pay for the losses.

Consistently profitable traders are usually RIGHT on less than half of their trades; many of them are right on 3 or 4 trades for every 10 trades they take. Money management is the key; these same traders are cutting losses fast and then moving on to the next trade.

If you trade VWAP or Moving averages, the most crucial part is not above or below the average. The most important part is the angle, steepness, or rate of change; the moving average is moving at. Look at the angle; it's probably a choppy market if it's less than 45 degrees.

Trend Trading works because it takes advantage of the momentum in the direction of the trend. Trend traders can capture larger profits than counter-trend traders picking tops, bottoms, or range-bound traders. In simple terms, trend trading has a better risk-to-reward ratio.

A good trading system is like a chair with 4 legs: 1. Let Profits run (accumulate) 2. Trade only in the direction of the trend. 3. Risk management - limit the risk of each trade. 4. You need volatility (vertical movement) for runners. This is the foundation of trading success.

An 8 EMA (exponential moving average) is one of the best tools for day trading. It's a better trend-following tool because it gives more weight to the most recent price action. Here is what you get: You will not win on every trade, but you will NEVER miss a big move.

Each day I mark up charts with Trapped Traders or Bulldozer bars... Here is a cheat sheet to learn how to find these powerful bars. Each type of bar shows you where the volume is loaded and what direction the next bar will take. These bars give you a very good edge ๐Ÿ™Œ

If you are day trading, study your winning trades; what you notice is most of them make money right away. If you are in a trade for 2-3 minutes and it's not working. It's better to get out as most of them will fail, and you'll take a full stop-out. Good Trades work immediately.

90% off trading is WAITING But 90% of traders want ACTION. So they Donโ€™t wait for ANYTHING. This is exactly how a few bad trades take place, and now they want nothing more than to get their money back. So now they get FOMO and chase price, forget rules and lose more money.

One of the guys I trade with is a retired Fund Manager (and he's only 38 years old) but his wisdom is off the charts. He taught me something I'll share with you. If you are a day trader you need GOALS because your window of opportunity is limited to this

The more losing trades you take, the less objective you become. Getting out of losers needs to become automatic so that it clears your head and quickly restores your objectivity.

Trading is a mental game; you must learn to take small lossesโ€ฆ A trader needs to have patience when pulling the trigger so as to not be trigger-happy. If you become trigger-happy, you will drain your account because you no longer follow the rules and are now impulsive.

YOU SHOULD NOT TRADE IF: You do not have enough time to trade. You are not in the state of mind to concentrate. You are feeling Bothered, Busy, Frustrated, Impatient Stressed, Tired, or Unorganised.

Patience is not about how long you can wait but how well you behave while waiting for a trade. The hallmark of a great trader is being in a drawdown and waiting for the setup, NOT chasing price trying to get your money back. Growth comes from trading out of drawdowns.

Small losses are better than large losses; the problem is most people believe they can avoid losses altogether. The truth is losses are unavoidable and happen every day. Just face the fact that losses can and will happen with any trading system or set of rules.

I heard some guy laugh at another trader for saying $200 per day was a joke. REALLY, that's 50k per year. How many traders do you know making 50k? Everybody starts someplace in trading; if you can't average $200 bucks a day, WTF are you trying to average $1,000 a day for???

Learning to trade is not a few days or even a few weeks learning process. It takes months/years of experience. Trading is not a talent one is born with. It's a skill that is developed from experience. Good trading comes from experience, and experience comes from bad trading.

You gotta come into trading with enough capital to last 3 to 4 blowouts. You are not ready to understand the losses until your ass is lit ๐Ÿ”ฅ on fire. Ask @Canny4 what itโ€™s like or ask @fkyesss what she does. Point is Man or Woman it makes no difference... humans move the market.

They say 95% people lose at trading... but you want to know something else... most these same people do not have goals, most people do not have discipline, most people do not have the ability to WAIT for the setup and last but certainly not least is: Most people are IMPULSIVE.

Iโ€™ve seen it happen every single day. The trader takes 5 or 6 losses and then goes Impulsive, and what happens when you get impulsive? You throw your trading rules out the window chasing FOMO trades because you want to get the money back. You have to control your behavior!!

Just take the trade, don't sit there and hem and haw about whether or not it is going to be a good trade. It might be another losing trade or a huge runner that makes you profitable for the session. But you'll never know if you don't take the trade. STOP THINKING !!!

A winning trader has many losing trades (probably 65%), but they are small losses. The winning trades were 35%, but they are much larger gains versus the losing trades. The average trader is trying to be right 80 to 90%. The need to be RIGHT causes most traders to lose money.

Trading Tip: If you trade momentum, put up an 8 EMA. Notice on your winning trades the angle of the moving average. It's always going in the direction or your winning trades. You will never miss a big move if you trade in the direction of the 8 EMA. Test it, you will see.

Cut your losses; good trades don't start going against you immediately. Winning trades almost always start working right away. Let your profits run, you can't be afraid to let a winning trade run; it's more about waiting. Your system testing will give you the confidence to wait.

I donโ€™t understand how people canโ€™t read price. If a market is making Lower lows, why the fuck are looking to go Long. WTF is wrong with you??? Trade with the Trend; picking tops and bottoms is a suckers game. You donโ€™t win this game fighting the trend and not reading price.

If you're not profitable, you need as much practice as possible. I've been in this business since 1988, and there is a direct correlation to winning traders. The winning traders spend more time in Replay and Playback mode practicing. Successful trading is earned, not bought.

@TraderDivergent Wall Street movies ainโ€™t gonna teach you shit. You think โ€œGreed is goodโ€ let me know how that works out. You need persistence, determination and an Iron Mindset. Plus a lot of back testing to see what really works. Donโ€™t focus on the Crackhead, focus on the fighter.
