Just a few thoughts on what was an amazing spectacle last night at the Rec. Just 3 years ago, the club had maybe 60 fans watching the club week in week out. In such a short space of time, the club has managed to go from 60 fans to 1200 turning out to watch a match.

In the midst of all the uproar around Bangor City’s refusal for the domestic licence, it is worth noting how big a loss it is for the league given the magnitude of the club in relevance for Welsh football. Think we can agree, it’s a shame for the league and its wonderful fans.

An awful lot of work goes into achieving a Tier 1 License, so I am particularly pleased that @bflafc and @CarmarthenAFC have achieved the license. A first for @bflafc after many years of hard work - congratulations to all in the clubs who have worked tirelessly to achieve this.

8️⃣ clubs in the #JDCymruSouth have applied for a Tier 1 License. For the 7 seasons before 2014-15, we only had one season where a club in South Wales was promoted. This is a real step change - and one we should all be proud of.
