OK, so I gave it a try and tried to approach markets the way
@PoseidonTrader
is. I'm sure I made mistakes along the way but here is my position after 50 selections. I started with 20 EUR bank and got +137.88 EUR in total (29 selections won, 21 lost). Will definitely continue!
I have added the results of my last 3 trades to totals and the number couldn't be more close to 1000🤣. It is definitely because of that 1.5 EUR profit in Strasbourg game 🤣 Anyway, I got to 1000 from 0 in 167 trades with average liability per trade 28.55.
My summary of the day? Just unbelievable! 😎🤑🥳
Crystal Palace would have been a winner but in the end the odds were correct and I wasn't involved!
West Ham was my mistake as I should have laid them when 1-2 up!
Should've won more in Girona game!
I guess it is time for a summary.
I traded (almost) every game of Euro 2024 tournament, sharing my thoughts on the Discord - added one game in Sweden and one game in Norway to that. My liability per game was 30 - 42/48 however once I risked 150 and today 118.
Total is +€633
No trading today. It is that day in a year for me when you realize that you are older 😊
Had a nice time in local Asian restaurant with my family and ordered some Bao bao buns 👌
Now, virtually travelling to Philippines and enjoying Don Papa 😊
Status after 126 selections! Thanks again to
@PoseidonTrader
for his free presentations and 3 free masterclasses that he invited me to!
What's the approach? Attack all prices that are wrong, get the volume of trades in and let the mathematical edge play out over a large sample!
With the feedback below, I am officially done with the trading drama, guys 😄not because I am disrespectful but because everything has been said and I'm sure nothing new will be brought to the picture. Also, I need to focus my energy on my trading journey! Have a great day all!
The analysis of Match Odds for this weekend's games is now available. Videos have been added to the playlist. As always, I will be more than happy to get your comments or questions!
I have just completed reading: "Trading in the Zone: Master the Market with Confidence, Discipline, and a Winning Attitude",Book by Mark Douglas.
I can't recommend it enough to anyone who wants to be a successful and consistent trader! Opened my eyes to many important aspects!
This time it was a different set of 3 lays - technically over 1.5 goals.
I will be back with regular trading from September and the plan for next season is:
1) support the other traders (Discord) and help them understand the CS market,
2) concentrate more on in-play trading!
"Today was a red day for me. I had a bit of bad timing. Am I nervous? Is the bank empty? Absolutely not—this is just part of the daily routine. It's happened before and it will happen again.
I haven't changed my filters, and I won't be changing them for a long time. They are my
Today we have released the Calculator for the GoalWatch strategy (popularized by
@footballtraders
) in our Discord!
Big thanks to
@HandyAndyHomer
for his hard work on it!
I was later using the spreadsheet on Varnamo - Mjallby game which ended 1-2 (72.49% profit).
If you like to see which games I have added to my trading watchlist for the upcoming weekend, check the video below (as on every Friday) 😉
I hope that your watchlists are (almost) ready too! Here is for another profitable weekend! 🍻
I have been getting questions around trading watchlist preparation and I decided to record some videos showing my spreadsheet and my approach to this topic. I hope you will find this playlist useful 😉👍
I have just reached 4.5k followers! 🥳🥳
Sincere thanks to each and everyone of you!
I can't express how happy I am that you are on this football trading journey with me! THANK YOU!🙇♂️
Right, so there might not be many opportunities to enter football markets soon, so let's have a look at the results. I started this with 20 EUR!
Summary:
Net profit (less 3% commission): 365.14 EUR,
Won: 77,
Lost: 54,
Win Rate: 59%
All the details are there on my website!
If you are interested in learning a bit more about the spreadsheet that I am using during my Correct Score trades, here is a video that explains everything:
Traders!
I hope everyone is doing OK! I am officially ready to start the new season and continue investing in football markets! I will be continuing what I was doing late last season -
@PoseidonTrader
method
Website is ready too!
Here is the summary of the weekend. Doubled my initial stake in the end, perhaps I could have traded the Saturday games more aggressively...if you have any questions, feel free to ask!
Tomorrow I plan to record my next video where I will be building my trading watchlist for the upcoming weekend.
Today I backed Real Madrid - both teams full strength, Real won the Super Cup and playing great. They were the better team in the SC semifinal. Good odds too! 😉
Time for the summary, so you can check Trading watchlist and overall details below.
Yes, Empoli - Monza doesn't look too good but you can't win them all 😉
Slow and steady is the way, not get rich quick!
I don't blame people who want to see profit evidence directly from the exchange. I can show it, no problems, remember that I am slowly building my bank and not going over 30 liability per trade (for now). It is not a get-rich-quick method. Here is last 30 days if someone wants it
After spending a week at the seaside, I went to the mountains. Tomorrow is the last day of my holidays and on Friday I’m coming back home. Today I spent some time in the forest and in the evening when I was relaxing at the hotel, I traded Slavia Prague game. Great risk / reward!
Lost the Czechia trade (had 1-2 covered) but then repeated the general approach for 🇹🇷 vs. 🇵🇹.
All the details in the Discord and great atmosphere!
If you lose a trade, it doesn't necessarily mean that what you did was wrong.
Hey guys!
I thought I would address the reasons why some of the games from my last weekend's watchlist were not traded in the end.
There are two main reasons why games added to the watchlist not always end up as investments.
One weekend doesn't matter in the long run but it is equally important to have your trading journal and review it. Here are the results from the weekend.
Decided not to enter the Nice - Lyon market as Lacazette wasn't playing and instead entered Aston Villa as the price was great
@Tealeaf1965
@footballtraders
For any strategy I recommend building a simple calculator like the one attached. It allows to set the stakes correctly and to quickly check the summarized outcome
Here is a video in which I explain my understanding of the HomerHT trading strategy developed by
@HandyAndyHomer
There is also an Excel spreadsheet that I put together to support the approach.

Of course I owe you guys a summary of the weekend. Here it is. Bilbao game ended 2-1, I had +100 on 2-2 - that one was close. Profit on United game could have been boosted (lay United when took the lead twice) but I was out and not in front of my PC.
Summary of the weekend's in-play trading.
I don't recall such a result in any weekend of the watchlist strategy...
Is in-play trading really the way? All my friends - traders - here on X, do that.
International break now but I have to continue those in-play trading sessions!
I received many messages lately asking about the Excel results spreadsheet. Many of you'd like to start using it. I found it on one website. Send me an e-mail and I will share the link.
It's not much but I'd like to thank you for your continuous support at least with something 🤝
I owe you guys an update on me trying
@PoseidonTrader
"wrong odds" approach! Yesterday I reached 100th selection, so here are the results:
Net profit: 191,9
Won: 56
Lost: 43
Scratch: 1
Win Rate: 57%
Average liability per selection: 19,40
Full results:
Do you know what is even better for me than the trading profits? Happy people that enjoy being on this journey with me! 🥳🙏🤝
It comes as no surprise that "transparency" is mentioned so many times and is something that fellow traders expect!
Yesterday didn't go well as you can see but there is a clear lesson coming out of it. Closing the position before FT has to be important in this approach! Winning goal times:
Chelsea - 90th minute
Feyenoord - 95th minute
Genoa - 89th minute
Trying to learn from
@PoseidonTrader
I owe you guys results summary.
If you watched my videos before the weekend, you knew what games I had on my watchlist. Was going against the market a good decision? It surely was! 😉👍
This is the second time (hard to believe) that I am trying ONLY in-play trading - instead of entering the markets before KO and for the second time I make 100 🤔 how can I not continue this now - at least for a while? 🤪
I will definitely be continuing my Market Trends challenge in 2019! Last two trades lost my only because I wasn't sticking to my discipline! Also, I'm thinking about setting up a Telegram channel and sharing my trades when I do them!
Just disagreed with the market that Netherlands are 2.83x better than Croatia.
Or in other words that out of 100 games Netherlands will win 54 and Croatia 19.
Always ask yourself - what is it that the market is telling me and see if you agree.
It is interesting that 80% of conversations on different forums are about strategies, 10% about psychology and 10% about money management.
It should be the other way around! 80% of your trading psychology, 10% strategy and 10% money management!
Hello Traders!
This time I decided to record just one, longer video and covered all leagues in it.
Let me know if the old approach (5 videos) was better
Follow your watchlists, manage your positions in-play, stick to your trading plans! All the best!
I remember
@PoseidonTrader
telling me last season that if I invest not only in top teams but also in weaker teams (which is not bad by definition), I have to be prepared for more significant variances. When I look at my current results, I think I am seeing exactly that.
I hope you guys have already prepared your watchlist for the weekend! I did and updated my Youtube playlist with relevant videos! Feel free to check and - as always - don't hesitate to comment and ask questions. 😉👍
Starting my 2 weeks vacation on Sunday and still only doing warm-up trades. Today, I selected Sevilla to score in 2nd half with cover if only one goal is scored by them.
They scored in 61st minute and profit was secured 10 minutes later. Good return compared to investment too!
Had 2-0 as target score in Switzerland game but it was hit too early and I laid it. 2-1 was my target as well but Italy didn't score even one goal.
#switzerlandvsitaly
In the other game, again 2-0 was my target but another goal would boost the profits
#DenmarkGermany
If you saw my Serie A video (and/or saw
@PoseidonTrader
tweet) you knew that for me the best opportunity today was in Serie A.
I was also involved in West Ham game (Back / green) and Villarreal (Back / red).
Summary of today. I've entered the Lens - Nantes market at 1.30 with reduced liability (when 1-0) - Ligue 1 is tricky. The game ended 4-0 and that was the only loss.
I'm finally back after the break! New football season is around the corner and it is time to make money! I spent some time building a completely new design of my website which will be released very soon! I hope you will likel it - stay tuned!
Here is my position in Manchester United game at HT. I split my lay in 2 parts: 20 @ 1.60 odds and additional 10 @ 1.3 odds. West Ham: 13 shots, ManU: 3. Irrespective of the final result, ManU is not 3.9 times better than West Ham - c'mon! 😊
The approach was summarized very well by
@CJTrader5
"Attack all prices that are wrong, get the volume of trades in and let the mathematical edge play out over a large sample"
More than 4.3k followers! Thank you very much! I really appreciate each and every one of you. It is great to know that you are with me on my trading journey. I hope you can learn a thing or two from me! 👍
If there are goals, trading is a pleasure!
Warm up in Sweden before two Euro 2024 games - where there may not be so many goals...
Beautiful final position! 😍
Similarly to HomerHT approach, here is a video in which I explain the Goal Watch trading strategy developed by
@footballtraders
There is again an Excel spreadsheet that I put together to support the approach.
Enjoy and follow

I've started setting up my own Discord to be able to talk to other traders, answer questions and share what I learnt over the years on the exchanges.
Excited to see how it will go!
All my followers are free to join (the link will be valid for 7 days):
The most difficult thing for me to understand in trading was accepting uncertainty. Almost all of us started as gamblers and had that natural feeling of "I know who will win this game, I'll put money on it". Investment in football markets makes sense if the odds are in your favor
Thanks for all the reactions that I received after publishing my YT videos yesterday with odds analysis. I appreciate you guys!
By the way, if someone followed blindly my watchlist for today, he/she would end up with 6 winners out of 8 selections.
Trading International Friendlies always carries extra risk. I decided to get involved as my team was involved. Didn't get a return this time! 🇵🇱 vs. 🇺🇦
Dusseldorf - Bochum - 0-1 HT and Bochum were 3-0 down from the first leg.
There had to be action in 2nd half, so I decided to go for 2 goals in 2nd half. Backed 0-3, 1-2, 2-1, 2-2, 3-1 and 1-3. Then closed my position accordingly.
This time I checked and the sound is definitely working! My preview videos for this weekend's games are now available! There are at least a couple of very strong selections where the odds, in my opinion, are not justified! 😎🧐
@PoseidonTrader
You've made a significant difference to my perception of the markets and trading! My work was limited to the CS market - predicting result and in-play management of the position. After the discussions that we had (+ Masterclass), I changed the approach and couldn't be more happy!
@TraderDeclan
@1doddy83
No offence taken, buddy - at all. It is great to exchange opinions on this. 👍 As you say, now it probably doesn’t matter as his account no longer exists. I will continue sharing my trading journey and helping people and I’m sure you’ll do the same 💪

What if you enter the market and your position goes wrong? Accept the fact, close the trade and move on, don't try to recover every trade that doesn't go your way. Again, this is psychological - but important!
Lessons after those 100 selections mentioned in my earlier post:
1) Bad runs will happen - check trades 60-67 on the chart!
2) Trade out late in the game (after 75th minute) if one goal can kill your trade and the wrong team is pushing!
3) Stay disciplined!
@PoseidonTrader
👍
8th in the table Betis is facing 19th Granada. It is 0-0 HT and the first half stats are attached.
According to the market, with 45 minutes to go, Betis now has a 49% chance of winning the game.
Would you agree with this?
Unfortunately I won't be uploading the videos for this weekend - got some infection, lying in bed with fever and vocal cords issues - can barely speak...🤒
I will do my best to trade though! Have your watchlist ready too!
Sociedad got the red card in 29th minute, took the lead in 32nd BUT Alaves made it 1-1 late in 1st half.
the question was: what is the probability of Alaves winning, playing 45 minutes 11 against 10. The market was telling us: 33%
For me the chance was higher and I backed them 👍
Iceland 🇮🇸 - Montenegro 🇲🇪
The idea behind 3 lays is that when a goal is scored you win 2 of them and then you can decide whether to cover the only red or not. In this example I decided to take the red out and that turned out to be a good decision.
