For an additional studio I think we all know Kojima is very high on the list of collaborative studios with Sony. After Death stranding DC Kojima seems to be working again with Sony on a massive AAA game. Additionally Kojima prod. is expanding to Movies and TV shows & Anime. 25/25

@oliver_drk Listen man, I dont like news of cancelled projects as much as the next guy it's discouraging and it sucks, but lets not try to romanticize the fact that its likely these projects get canceled bc if they released they could look like redfall. I rather see management do their job.

Who is Leyou? Leyou is a Chinese Gaas company, parent company of Warframe developer and a couple others. The main purpose of this acquisition was to acquire a multiplayer live service game. Like bungie this wouldn't have been an organic relationship-to-acquisition with Sony. 5/25

All that to make clear Sony didn't buy Bungie as a flex to Microsoft because they use to own them, Sony bought them because they were a perfect fit for what they were trying to do all the way back in 2020 and even in the PS3 gen with all PS3 multiplayer games. Cash flow. 13/25

This was about cashflow rather than moving hardware. But what about PS5 what about future acquisitions? Will Sony now focus on more traditional acquisitions that serve the Playstation fanbase more directly? I think yes... 15/25

Xbox series was arguably built first and foremost to be the most marketable console with the flashier and easy to advertise 12TF that they knew Sony likely wouldn't match, they proudly lead marketing with spec sheets. Who could blame Microsoft after the marketing fiasco... 2/

In light of Hiroki Totoki's (Sony president) announcements, If you are curious about Sony's potential big investments perhaps it is smarter to study their spending strategy first to learn what they what they seek and what they value in order to get an idea of true candidates;

Glad to see more development on this announcement I previously covered. Sony president and COO now says they will invest into entertainment “at a completely new level" Sounds like something big.
