Wow! Where to start. What a night at @stambrosehigh does Strictly Come Dancing. Erin has been an amazing partner and I am so delighted to say that tonight we became the champions for 2023! Thanks to everyone involved in organising. Unbelievable standard this year!

Introduced S1 to footgolf. Created a course on the astro with water hazards (blue cones), bunkers (yellow cones) and obstacles. Great control and putting on show. It was difficult to control the putts but we got much better @FGAScotland . Hit the container = holed. Knock over +1

Today I won the Fight for the Flight. This means I have qualified for the FootGolf World Cup in Orlando, Florida in 2023. It’s always an honour to represent your country but to do it at what it set to be the biggest FootGolf event ever is going to be incredible @FIFG_World 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇺🇸

The Pupils have been a credit to themselves, their families and the school. They have shown maturity. Keen to sit with teachers and converse during day and night. There has clearly been further fantastic relationships created. A brilliant week with lifelong memories created.

S2 were working on high jump today. We practiced lots working on scissor kick before moving on to the Fosbury flop. Always good to demo the activity so pupils can see what they are being asked to do.

What a feeling 🏆 Over the last 2 days I have been competing in Wales with Scotland against England and Wales for the BrainsTrust Cup. I won my match yesterday in qualifying and then also won today in the final against a strong English opponent. Delighted! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 What a team!

The S1/2 girls played some lovely football tonight! Winning the #SPAR regional @ScottishFA Cup at the @FalkirkStadium tonight. Finishing the tournament without conceding a goal and winning all 6 matches. We now progress to Toryglen for the national finals @stambrosehigh

Well that was an experience. One I won’t be doing again though. Fair play to Mrs Denton for going out and looking after the schools 2 beehives on a regular basis 🐝. Scary stuff thousands flying around you! Around 100 thousand in the 2 hives. Incredible stuff @stambrosehigh

Today we started our athletics block. We started by playing rock paper scissors run followed by head shoulders knees and cones. We discussed where reaction time is important in different activities before working on reactions as the starting gun goes. The joy and laughter 😀

Well..... what an afternoon. The staff boat just about tipped as Mr Kennedy was sailing. The main sail entered the water and just about capsized us! The pupils were much more controlled on their driving..... ⛵️

For different people different exam results mean success. I am just as delighted for certain individuals who achieved a C as I am for those who achieved an A in my subject. Not to mention delighted for everyone in between. Success is measured differently to different individuals

We have arrived at @gardaland and the rollercoasters look amazing. The pupils are all away enjoying their free time, as are the staff. Trying to squeeze in as many rides as possible 🎢

Absolutely gutted for our girls. What a performance! The come back in that 4th quarter to take the match to extra time. An unbelievable effort from all involved! Very proud. Bring on the Caritas cup final next week ❤️

Massive well done to everyone that competed at county sports today in what were pretty terrible conditions. We achieved 3 Gold 2 silver and 2 Bronze medals. Not to mention 8 4th place finishes and a number of qualifiers through to the 800m and sprint events on Tuesday. Very proud

When the neighbour (73) chaos the door and drops off a greggs for you and the fiancée because you are both working hard to teach the pupils. What a gem! He really is a legend 😁 such a nice man. Always enjoy our chats.

Never give up. After finishing day 1 of the Scottish Open disappointed, +1, 18th and with a quad injury I just hoped to be able to complete day 2. Got a sports massage, stretched and took pain killers. Today I went out and shot -11 to break the course record and finish 2nd!

Erin and Luke struggled at first to find words to describe today. Millions of people brutally murdered. Now it has started to sink in their observations and comments are very fitting and clearly show the impact this experience has had. They have been a credit to @stambrosehigh
