@staidindoors I was a teen in the ‘90s and I was watching plenty of movies from the ‘70s, which was the same time interval: Jaws, Star Wars, The Godfather, Apocalypse Now, etc. I think the biggest difference is most parents no longer take the time to watch great movies with their kids.

@OliLondonTV FYI: The pic you used is of a bio female wrestling against another bio female. The wrestler on top is transitioning to male, is on testosterone, and requested to wrestle against males but was denied. The law required them to wrestle as whatever appears on their birth certificate.

@nut_history Barry Bonds, no question. Sure he was on PEDs, but so were the pitchers he was facing, and the hitters he was competing against. LOTs of dudes used PEDs, almost certainly including your favorite player of the ‘90s/‘00s, but none of them did what Bonds did.

@FunkerActual People act like dropping bombs is cowardly or something, when in reality this is the alternative. It’s easy to say “Stop the bombing!” when you’re not the one who has to do this on a Tuesday morning. The less bombs dropped, the more that dudes have to do this, and vice versa.

The game required players to be in constant motion to either be setting or running through screens that would be Flagrant 2s today.

@nut_history LOTS of guys, hitters and pitchers both, did steroids in the ‘90s, but only BB was able to do what he did. The idea that BB isn’t one of the 5 best offensive players of all time with or without PEDs is laughable. Dude was a HoFer before he started juicing.
