Upon receiving the 2,000 iron sheets meant for Karamoja, Minister Agnes Nandutu ferried them to her residence in Wakiso before transferring them to her farm in Mukono. Police recovered 1,617 iron sheets from the farm. 313 couldn’t be accounted for.

Mr Bob Kasango, ‘one of the best lawyers ever’ forged two judicial documents and stole Shs15.4b of pension money through his law firm’s account meant for payment of 6,340 pensioners. He was charged and sentenced to 16 years in jail in December, 2018 where he has died. May he RIP.

My dad was once referred from a private health centre to Lacor Hospital after an accident. I had spent Shs 1.5m in 3 days at the private facility. He was admitted at Lacor for 6 days. I only spent 35k for admission. He was housed, fed and treated until discharge at no cost.

Lest we forget in 2002, Fred Ruremera, a Mukiga migrant won the LCV chairmanship of Kibale district. The Banyoro protested and appealed to Museveni arguing that a migrant cannot rule them. Museveni subsequently ordered Ruremera to step down for George Namyaka, a Munyoro.

MP Dickson Kateshumbwa, while appearing on Capital FM’s edition of the #CapitalGang today said that those behind the #UgandaParliamentExhibition are funded to scandalize Parliament. So, the same people were paid to exhibit potholes, NGOs and health? Despicable!

As a student, Prof Barnabas Nawangwe, by his own admission, had to leave Makerere University prematurely because he got involved in a demonstration against Idi Amin. He had to flee for safety. Today, Nawangwe is expelling students for allegedly organizing “Bimeza” (debates).

Parliament of Uganda is flooded with tens of communication officers and public relations consultants but still can’t communicate. Many of them are former journalists, paid handsomely. But, they communicate like they’re representing a local rebel group.

Mathias Mpuuga and his 11 DP Bloc colleagues joined NUP on August 13, 2020, a month after the party was founded. The 11 were received and handed party membership cards by Bobi Wine. Today, I heard Mpuuga say he’s a founder of NUP. Is this factual or mere political posturing?
