We,National Centre for Respiratory Medicine team @igmhmv removed a #Buruga pin from lungs of a 17yr- she’s fine now Alhamdhulillah. It took 3 hrs to remove it, since it was embedded in the wall of airway. Pls b careful. Pls don’t put pins in mouth, as u might inhale it. #BeAware

At an age of 60 years, can u imagine to be in an ICU for around 175 days?After a stroke,after a hemicraniotomy,with multiple lung infections during the period,on dialysis, low cardiac function & breathing through a tube in neck.Not able to see any family members & still smiles.

At which stage of lock down ease did the cases start to fill in? May be we can look back to that stage and shift our attention to tighten the ease to that level. #COVID19 status in Maldives is escalating at an alarming rate. We must work together to prevent more deaths.

New evidence shows the virus can be expelled through the air we breath out. So except through droplets, there is chance that the virus can be spread through breathing. #COVID19 precautions are to be extended to cover your mouth with cloth masks.

Among one of the researches conducted in China, of 206 patients who died, 85 had type A blood and 52 with type O. #COVID19 . Needs more research to comment. Don’t be afraid if you have A group.
