On March 29th, I got to marry the love of my life. The next day, we drove from MA to PA to be with my mother when she was placed on hospice, before passing away this past Wednesday. Life has been complicated, but I am so grateful for my wife and the last days I had with my mom.

What you didn't see about my trip to Boston is me not having confidence I'd get on the train until I boarded because of my anxiety. How I talked with my therapist for weeks leading up to it. How I haven't taken a trip like this in years. Be kind to yourself. ❤️

For a long time, I was lucky enough to have a partner who cooked for us. When I became single, it was something I challenged myself to do on my own. It felt like a little sign that I could adapt to my new normal. Thanks for all the positive feedback. It really does mean a lot.

I have Covid (total bummer) but I’m vaxxed and boosted so my symptoms are incredibly mild. I wanted to wait to share until I knew I was on the mend. I feel lucky to be able to spend this Christmas with my baby Chips, working through my crossword and napping intermittently.
