A complete set of every magic the gathering card ever printed . And I'm fortunate enough to be buying it. The dreams of every magic the gathering collector.
Pokémon dude comes in today, spends a rack, leaves.
Magic dude comes in, tries haggling with me over a $2 card, says they'll buy it for $1.80 on tcg instead.
Guess which customer player base I'm prioritizing 😒

Bought out a collection painstakingly curated over 30 years of a single set of everything. If you are a collector and are looking for something pristine to add to your collection, please let me know so that we may give this monument to magic a home.
Magic players out here willing to listen to anyone on improving their deck and tips for tournaments but the second you talk about improving this country they ignore anything you say and create a twitter handle called norbert88
Giving away a portal starter set while I'm out of town.

Do you know how happy I am that WOTC is finally taking the foot off the spoiler gas after a year of product fatigue? We get two whole months of resting before the cycle starts again.
I miss the old product release cycle

We are cancelling the legacy 20k as the venue and I have reached a mutual agreement and are invoking force majeure. I will be reaching out to every single participant for a refund etc and apologize for the inconvenience.
The greatest threat to LGSs in 2022 is WOTC prioritizing Amazon's supply over the people that provide a face to face place to meet and play with people.
You can't play magic at Amazon's warehouse.
Imagine thinking any LGS gets rich from running events, or even being open!
Even in the best case scenario, you are making a middle class income after 5 years of blood sweat and tears.
Giving away a pair of k Swiss jace mtg shoes, RT and follow for a chance to win. I'll pick a winner tomorrow and can ship these worldwide. There were only 300 pairs made.
Processing a collection today that is 10% real cards and 90% fakes. They disclosed they left the fakes in but I didn't realize they had proxied every card in modern and legacy when it was given to us. Please do not include known fakes in collection buys when selling 🫠
Magic Twitter is increasingly becoming dumber and more irrational every time I open this app on why cards should cost nothing in a COLLECTIBLE card game.
Pieces of cardboard aren't a right. You aren't owed anything in a luxury hobby.
My favorite interaction today is a dude that bragged to our casual players for a year about how much his tropical island was worth compared to their decks being told his card was fake.
For local people calling for a "m*ga night" aka a kristallnacht, eat shit. I'll be out protecting minority owned business with a M82 tonight. This isn't happening to people again.
Magic players: I'm such a minimalist you wouldn't even believe
Also magic players: own 20 EDH decks 22 booster packs in their desk drawer, a duel deck they've never played, their car is full of junk commons and there's towering stacks of random rares next to their computer.
Friendly reminder that just because you buy a $4 pack of cardboard doesn't mean you have the right to treat staff like shit when you don't open "a bomb ass rare"
This morning, I had someone knock on my door to ask me if I had physical grab bags for sale by using the info on my envelopes to come to where I am. This is how you get shot in the face in a pandemic. Please do not pull up on me, thanks.
Why do you like playing Magic? Maybe it’s the deep gameplay, the expansive lore—or maybe you just love the iconic art!
Take our latest survey and help shape the future of what we're working on at Wizards!

sucks and is driving many shops out of business. Wizards is selling directly to the secondary market to appease stockholders and we have now turned into Yu-Gi-Oh tins. Support your LGS
Magic player: comes in, asks for a set box because they're on a budget.
Us: we are out of midnight hunt set sorry.
Them: ok I'll take a MH2 Collectors box instead.
Me: ??????
U.S. mail deliveries slow down starting Friday under a 10-year cost-cutting plan by USPS Chief DeJoy — a Trump appointee with no prior USPS experience.
▪️ 40% first-class mail affected
▪️ Delays up to 5 days
▪️ Post office hours cut
▪️ Package shipping prices hiked for holidays
Here's your friendly reminder to NEVER BUY SEALED PRODUCT ON AMAZON. Bought my brother a Commander Masters collector booster box and once we opened the shrink wrap found every pack already opened and replaced with bulk. Super disappointing, especially on Christmas ☹️
If you DM me complaining about $332 of cards you didn't want after buying a $100 grab bag and ask me to refund you and keep the cards I reserve the right to block you.
