In what has been a period of challenges personally, small victories are massive positives! I can remember the day my Mum told us she had Breast Cancer. Today she was finally discharged from Hospital, all clear. Great news going into Mother's Day.

Within the @GlosRugby_Acad U16s, we make sure that we use both linear and lateral progressions, when controlling body movements. These type of prep exercises will assist in understanding what movements 'feel' like; and when we get in the racks, they have to ustand how they feel.

We have to get the young @GlosRugby_Acad players to ustand bracing, catching, carrying, holding external loads in different shapes. This takes time, and repetition, to grow efficiency and confidence in the movements. Spend time getting this part right.

Tough day at the office today for the youngsters. 2 years ago, 7 of the finishing side played in the Academy U18s Final. 7 have come through the @GlosRugby_Acad DPP Program from U14s. Not the debuts some might have dreamt of, but some real character shown to get to this day.

Great first block for @GlosRugby_Acad lads with some now getting a short rest break. Good transition from some 18s to Sen Acad. Lots of learning gone on, but to a player can't fault the intent to get better.

Since 2015, there has now been 3 full International come through the @GlosRugby_Acad Program, and after yday around 25+ players have now represented @gloucesterrugby It isn't a quick process, but lads have to take their opps when they present themselves. Keep going fellas!

Time spent working with ind is essential. @tom__turner taking time with @barton0711 to go over some upper / lower disociation work after identifying some areas in training yday. Great for the young lads to have the resource of Sen Cond focussing time on them.

In 2015 the @GlosRugby_Acad U18 Front Row was Knight, Walker, Seville. With the news that @Walker1998Henry had re-signed yesterday, the 3 continue what has already been a 6+Year Relationship with @gloucesterrugby Still loads of development in all 3!

Great couple of hours with @henrypurdy_ and Glos Feed the Hungry. Spent some quality time chatting to nurses and patients at both Glos and Chelt Hospitals. Delivering some of the many Easter Eggs collected, and getting a smile out of people. @gloucesterrugby @GlosRugby_Acad

Leads by his actions, and sets the standard for the rest to follow. Leaders / Captain's have their own styles. I know if i had to stand in that @gloucesterrugby defensive line i would want @LewisLudlow94 next to me!

To continue the support for the Homeless Charities I have worked with, I have managed to collect a series of signed @premrugby players jerseys. Over the next few weeks I will be looking auction these off, to provide much needed resource to those Charities.
