@Callahan has provided us with the code he created for the video, and we have concluded that this was simply the case of two creators executing the same idea. This resulted in very similar behaviors, which we misidentified as behaviors of our own code.

Outside the general store Shepard’s located in Akila City, there's a mud puddle that has a hidden chest containing all the purchaseable items in said store. Can only be accessed by crouching and going in third person. These hidden chests are used to store items for shops.

this is the same methods we use! the game host ( @breqdbank ) has a preference for in-game settings having loot pools be done like this allows us to mutate them on the fly in a manner that is easily digestible! cannot speak for bethesda though
