This is the correct take. This resignation will usher in further political interference, undue donor influence, and a stifling of free speech and academic freedom. This is a resounding victory to the anti democratic far right and I’m appalled at how many are celebrating this.

Heartbroken to share that Vivian’s remains were identified. May her commitment to peace and Jewish Palestinian solidarity serve as a model for us all. May all the hostages return safely, and may the horrific killing of civilians in Gaza end now. Always, people first.

Thinking of Vivian, my mother's friend, and all the kidnapped Israeli's, dozens of whom are children, some as young as 9 months. More civilian death and despair will not bring the dead back, nor will it hasten the return of the hostages.

Fascinating piece by my friend @DorfmanDoron . SCOTUS decision to block vax requirements in workplaces is a blow not only to public health and workplace safety, but to disability rights, and runs counter to the ADA’s intent, as per the law’s conservative proponents.

@NTarnopolsky @ZaidJilani The IMA already responded to this horrific letter signed by a small number of extremists. But what part are you saying is not true?

For too long, politicians have convinced Americans that government programs are only useful for poor people. "Poor programs are **poor** programs", whereas "normal" Americans don't want/need any government support. 1/3

So much grief and heartbreak in Israel and Palestine. So many civilians suffering the price of unscruplus politicians. Peace and justice are possible.

RIP to these physicians, among the many killed in the bombing of civilian buildings in densely populated Gaza, none of whom had an option to leave as all borders are closed😢💔

@MaxJordan_N @jbullockruns Totally feel this as an Israeli who moved here and restarted some of my training. In Israel we argue, often vocally, and debate. In the US it’s pretty top down. Attdg asked - do you want to call renal ? Me - oh no not really. Oh oops not an actual question…

@davidwblight1 But isn’t it more of a straw man argument ? Is anyone ( apart from questionable dei facilitators ) advocating for white guilt?
