The prosecution is the punishment. Most (not all) defendants will find exonerating footage, but they'll spend a year in jail anyway. And the DOJ knows this so is foot dragging. It's evil. It's shameful that more Republicans aren't saying something.

DOJ claims it will have discovery for "most" defendants by Labor Day. I won't hold my breath. Contract with Deloitte to build platform. Mehta asks for date when defense can access video, etc. Prosecutor says USCP video, body cam footage might be up in next several weeks.

@JessicaValenti @nytopinion The world does not revolve around you. I've had a premie with respiratory distress syndrome. I had an immune-compromised child spend time in the hospital with a bone marrow transplant. In both cases, I decided what level of risk to take b/c people can't be trusted.
