I'm barely on the bottom rung of the middle class here and *I* try to avoid those places, because I'd rather put what I have into supporting local businesses (Ya know, the conservative option) or places that treat their workers better. @bye_ology A coworker found this guy left outside in a snow storm in January of 2018. I named him Blizzard. He passed away in the summer of 2020. I don't know what his life was like before but I did the best I could for him.

I've scarcely seen a thing from the NRA about actual guns lately, it's all hard-right politics & money with guns as a prop. I'm glad I checked out in 2000 & yes, I remained a conservative for 8 more years. Still have guns.

@realDonaldTrump My family came to the United States over 100 years ago. My Grandpa still had a Swedish flag sticker on his truck when he died. My other grandparents had a sign with the Lord's Prayer in Norwegian. People tend to be proud of their heritage even when they're not rich White folks.

@RawStory Willie is a patriot, all day. Dude was in the Air Force for a little while, he's been putting his money where his mouth was, doing good for others for longer than I've been alive. Farm Aid helped my family in the 1980's. Hell I support him for his weed legalization efforts alone.

@WalshFreedom It's even worse than that, really. They're fine with being slaves so long as they get to be a better class of slave than some of the other slaves. They want a dictator but only if they think the dictator is "their" guy. I came to these realizations in 2015, but it still sucks.
