Dutton’s scheme has a gaping hole at its heart. Seven standard nuclear reactors would generate approximately 9GW of energy. AEMO’s latest planning indicates Australia will need at least 300 GW by 2050. Where will the rest of the power come from? Brain fart not a policy. #Auspol

During a war PM wouldn't be fighting the enemy or directing battle operations. But you'd hope they would be providing leadership for the country and ensuring that the army had the resources it needed. The idea that the PM is not needed during a national crisis is nuts #auspol

Transport is our 3rd largest source of greenhouse gas pollution and major health burden (about 1,700 deaths every year - larger than the national road toll). ALP's 50% EV policy is a really important step forward! #auspol

It has been more than 1,000 days since a Sri Lankan couple and their Australian-born children were forcibly removed from their home in a Queensland country town and placed in immigration detention. #abc730

“The truth is often the first casualty” when it comes to any debate around climate change, Sky News host Peta Credlin says in a comprehensive recap of Australia’s devastating summer of bushfires. #Credlin

@mcannonbrookes @mcannonbrookes No meeting has been had. Greg and his colleagues have been desperately worried about this summer. They have repeatedly written asking for a meeting with the PM, they have put ads in the paper and done endless media. Devastatingly their fears are being realised.
