Masked people tend to remove their masks when taking a casual photo. But I keep mine on. 1) Obvious Covid risk reduction. 2) There's no shame in it. It's like wearing glasses. But 3) I realized ultimately that keeping your mask on for the photo remind us what era we are in.

Well, this happened. Pre-show, the theatre artistic director reminded us of the Covid-infections that recently canceled performances. So "out of abundance of caution," an actor performed with a KN95 mask, & he notified us that the mask was not part of the directorial design.

What makes this so comical is that, um, the mask felt in-universe. Yeah, the character was "does weed in the dark" with a secure KN95, but it made sense. This is a play where every character is immunocompromised, and I suppose this one guy took a precaution.
