I find it bizarre when people say that "x medication causes weight gain" because it's a lie, unless the medication itself has extra calories, it doesn't. Sure, it can increase your cravings, but that's YOUR responsibility to not give into them, it's not the meds.

@Mother_Cathy My whole family is obese for this exact reason. It's bad eating habits learned from one generation to the other. When I went from obese to a healthy weight they kept asking me how I did it and were shocked every time I said it's just a calorie deficit.
