I just spent multiple hours building a camera tool in Unity to make screenshots for videos faster to take with adjustable Depth of Field controls... Guess how many hours were actually spent building the tool, and how many were just flying around taking pretty photos. 😂

Holy crap I figured it out. This is a fucking weird ass edge case. Apparently if you uncheck the splash screen option in the player settings it doesn't load the mouse texture properly... The fix is to Enable the Splash in Settings but keep blank and Disable the Unity Logo. 🤦‍♂️

Okay Unity 2020.3 is now LTS. We've been on 2019. So, it took an hour to upgrade the project but all those editor improvements from 2020.2 and these changes from last week have made using Unity fun again! Well done @unity3d optimisation team. 👏🏻 Bravo and thankyou!

So, I spent ALL DAY refactoring two projects to use Assembly Definition Files and oh my god why doesn't unity enforce this by default?! It's reduced compile times SIGNIFICANTLY Living The Deal would hang for around 60s after a script change. Now it's around 10-15s. Game changer!
