@hawn_caleb Yes. There was no infrastructure here at all. I wish you could read my family history - they were on the land, isolated and alone, with nothing there at all. No building supplies, no shops, no hospitals, no transport system. They needed to be very resourceful.

@Kon__K "All global evidence". Not true. There are two main approaches to DV. One has a feminist frame (yours). The other notes data linking DV to unemployment, homelessness, drugs & alcohol, mental health issues & intervenes in a targeted way on this basis.

@ShereleMoody It's possible he hated women. But he was schizophrenic, a user of methamphetamines and psychedelic drugs, homeless, known to police in two states and a male escort. Not representative of the average man.
