Good news! I-640 in Knox County is now fully open to three lanes in each direction! There will still be paving work on some ramps and shoulders, but that work will take place at night. Please an eye out for litter and moving crews working this week.

Earlier today, Army PFC Zach McCrary surprised his Dad Jerry, a @myTDOT mechanic, at our Region 1 offices in Knoxville. Jerry hadn't seen his son in nearly 2 years. Zach was stationed in South Korea, and now will be stationed in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. Welcome home Zach!
