If there’s one thing Motzko deserves a ton of credit for, it’s the discipline of his teams. Gophers have been the least penalized team in the country 3 years running now. I don’t know how you coach a team to simply not take penalties, but he clearly has it figured out.

Had to look up the last time there was only 1 Minnesota team in the NCAA tourney. You’d have to go back to 2010-11 where the only MN team in the tournament (Duluth) ended up winning it all at the X.
