Senior Tom Munoz ends his career as a state qualifier. Could not be prouder of how far Tom has come. Perfect example of hard work paying off when you do things the right way. Great kid with a bright future.
Ghee Rachal and Peter Marinopoulos finish their individual seasons as state runners-up. Lots to be proud of for both of them. Now the focus turns to Dual Team State.

3 RedHawks will represent Marist in the Grand March tomorrow night! Michael Esteban, Will Denny, and Ricky Ericksen advance to the state finals. Donavon Allen drops a heartbreaker double overtime and can wrestle back for 3rd tomorrow.
Now a two-time state placer, Tommy Boland wins by fall in the blood round. Will Denny drops a tough one to end his freshman season as a state qualifier. That gives us 5 placers for the year.
A really entertaining day of wrestling for the RedHawks! Awesome atmosphere and outstanding experience at The Flavin. Marist finished in 3rd place. Lost on the 9th tiebreaker criteria to Fr. Ryan (33-33), defeated Mukwonago 38-36, and dropped the final dual 33-32 to DeKalb.
Congratulations to Tom Munoz on winning the prestigious Block M Award for Marist Wrestling this year. Well deserved. Congrats and good luck at Illinois State.
Michael Leveille major decisions the No. 1 seed from Luxembourg-Casco, Wisconsin 10-0 to advance to the championship match tonight. His opponent will be from Cincinnati Lasalle.
Jacob Dado punched his ticket to Champaign with a victory in the semifinal wrestle back. Dado will also wrestle for 3rd. Two RedHawks will be traveling to next weekends state finals.
