That's right! Yoshi will be accompanying the bros. on their journey in Super Mario 127!
His debut is planned for the release of the rewrite, and will act as an NPC or power-up in the level editor.

Because of a contribution made by a Super Mario 127 modder: aloelucidity, you can expect a complete overhaul of the main menus in the game!
This includes a lot of highly requested features, not just visual revamps!

Meet Eddie! A young and eager toad, and apprentice of professor E. Gadd!
He's studying the mysteries of the Shine Sprites, and will be accompanying Mario and Luigi on their journey in the vast desert.

After some fiddling, we were able to extract, reformat, AND import animations from Super Mario Bros. Wonder onto this model โ making pose referencing a breeze from now on!
This is not limited to just Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and we'll showcase that in future posts.

A small (and robust) look at some of the new camera features coming to update 0.8 for Super Mario 127!
You can now limit the camera bounds with the new camera-limit object to prevent the camera from peaking out of your desired area!

We just wanted to let you know that we usually try to like and comment on every post @'ing our account, but due to the influx of people coming from the recent tweets; this has been quite difficult.
What if instead of Super Mario 127 we called it Super ๐๐ป๐ฎ๐ช๐ด 127, such that it could reference the 1981 hit single Super Freak by Rick James?
We absolutely do not condone any hatred towards the people who work for and support us every single day.
If you do not agree with this mindset, we ask you find a different game to play.

Thank you for over 200 followers! A lot of you may be wondering how development is going, and to summarize, things are currently slow due to a combination of factors (mostly lack of available developers.) There is a more in depth post about this on the Discord if you are curious.

Super Mario 127's code rewrite has been a long-term project with many hiccups in development. It's grown more and more ambitious the longer we've worked on it.

come a long way and am proud to say im almost completely done with the base movement just lacking some polish :3

Overall (heh, get it?), we've got a lot in store for this "Huge, HUGE, HUUUGE" update that we're just not quite ready to share yet.
