I’m recovering from breakthrough Covid-19. A few weeks ago I saw a pulmonologist because breathing & speaking are struggles. My new doctor ordered a gamut of tests to check my lung functioning as my X-rays show damage & because covid and asthma and fun. 1/

@WesElyMD We held a cocktail party for my mom’s Catholic sacrament of last rites. She was home w/hospice & me(21) and we sent invitations that read “we end in joy” (roethke) It was an ending akin to how she lived; joy, faith, music, laughter, community & great food and wine.
