@joncoopertweets
I usually vote for Dems but I'll admit we need some conservatives up there too to balance out some of the issues, especially on economics. But the Mitt Romney, John McCain types are all leaving the GOP now and all you have left are the Mike Lees, Marsha Blackburns and the rest
@SteveSchmidtSES
How much longer can congressional Republicans continue support polices that are clearly detrimental to the interests and security of the country, in fear of the 30%?
@RpsAgainstTrump
It's mind blowing to me that of all the TV coverage and social media discussion of this incident not one person (except me) has pointed out that South Dakota like most states has animal cruelty laws which she broke and for which she should have been prosecuted.
@TomCottonAR
I don't think Walz owes you or anyone else an explanation. As a longtime member of the Army National Guard, Walz taught American history, culture and English to Chinese high school students. What new conspiracy theory will you dream up tomorrow?
@RpsAgainstTrump
It's really annoying when some jack-ass know-it-all announcer tries to shout down the guest. In reality trump was right to get us out of the longest war in history, and Biden was right to close the deal. The 13 deaths that occurred during the exit was due to an operational
@MeetThePress
@kwelkernbc
Meet the Press? I thought I was watching a rerun of The Apprentice. How shameful it was for NBC to give such a platform to a man facing 91 criminal felony charges who plotted to overthrow the legitimate elected government of the U.S. How disgusting to hear Kristen Welker bowing
@harrisonjaime
The fact that Biden has had to issue so many EOs is indicative of the damage that was done by Trump and his enablers like
@MarshaBlackburn
which needed immediate correction.
@BidenHQ
@JoeNBC
A miracle, Graham admitting his hero trump vetoed the border bill, even though he looked like he was chocking to death while doing it. Maybe there is hope.
@BillHagertyTN
You're concerned about "big-government tyranny", but support a candidate that is on record for wanting to set the Constitution aside and be a Dictator on day one.
@MonicaCrowley
๐คฃExcept this isn't a rally it's a press conference and this picture was taken well before it started and all members of the media were seated.
@RealPNavarro
Quit whining, you should have showed up when you received the subpoena like any other citizen would be required to do. You thought you were above
the law and now you are where you are. Hopefully you have learned your lesson.
@joncoopertweets
I think his lawyers would negotiate house arrest or some other form of restrictions other than an actual prison. Having said that I don't think this judge has the nads to sentence him to prison unfortunately because that's where he belongs.
@mirandadevine
Walz served 20 years in the Guard, reenlisted for 4 after 9-11 but retired from the Guard to run for Congress a year before his unit was mobilized to Iraq.
@CalltoActivism
That's a no brainer when you see a stopped car ahead its always a good idea to slow down and prepare to stop too - and I'm a motor cycle rider.
@CalltoActivism
This will obviously bring more pressure to bare on Putin which is a good thing, however I hate for the innocent people of Russia who mostly oppose the war, to have to be punished.
@joncoopertweets
Murdoch made that comment in an article in the Post, but I'll be waiting to see if that position takes root on Fox News. Right now "Fox News" is an oxymoron. Since Fox ignored one of the most significant news events of our time it can no longer be considered cable "news"
@SenRickScott
That's simply not true. For 2025, the Biden Administration is proposing to increase Medicare Advantage payments by 3.7% overall, which amounts to a roughly $16 billion increase..
@SmnWeekly
I don't get the whole Musk/Twitter take over thing. Twitter allows all political views to be posted here, the only things they disallow are hate speech, conspiracy theories, threats etc.
@JoyceWhiteVance
It's insane that the SCOTUS is wrapping itself up in a question that any above average 5th grader could correctly answer on the spot. The rest of the world must be shaking their heads in collective disbelief at how dysfunctional our legal system is.๐
@RepCarlos
@RepMariaSalazar
@MarioDB
@HouseGOP
Why would anyone think term limits and requiring compliance with binding ethics rules for Supreme Court Justices is "undermining democracy"? After a while folks ears become numb to all the hyperbole.
@RpsAgainstTrump
I got a better idea why not require the 6 hours or so in each school day to be spent on math, science, history, English, civics and other things that kids will need to become functional adults and keep the friggin politics and religion out of it
@John_barron17
There's no magic lever in the oval office that the president call pull to raise or lower prices. The only way gas to $1.87 could happen would be of we became a socialist nation and the government took control of the oil production facilities and mandated the price.
@6sfrench6
@joncoopertweets
Bad wording on my part, of course I know McCain is gone, I was just using his name and Romney as examples of moderate Pubs that are viewed generally as favorable or at least tolerable by center left types like me.
@Jim_Jordan
Well if someone is going to be cleared to handle classified information it's important to know if they support a guy that treats classified information like it's the daily newspaper.
@JoyceWhiteVance
This is yet one more example of why non-lawyers like me see our criminal justice systems as being nothing but an expensive, time consuming joke.
@MonicaCrowley
What ever happened to facts, arguments, policies, you know stuff that people really care about? I guess that's all dead now, in your world it's about destroying the opponent, and speaking with violent metaphor.
@RonFilipkowski
Whoever the idiot was that wrote that was either blowing smoke or doesn't understand the the First Amendment pertains to the government's limitations on suppressing speech, it has nothing to do with what private companies or organizations can establish as policy.
@cameron_kasky

my generation took the streets 50 years ago and stopped an illegal war that killed 53,000 Americans, and again to end Jim Crow so African Americans could gain equality. Stand tough and stay strong and YOU WILL WIN THIS.
@tribelaw
@Unity_Coach
The infamous Ken Starr also presided over what is thought to be the worse sexual assault scandal in college football history for which he as later ousted.
@SteveSchmidtSES
I get your point Steve but OTOH if they call it before it's an absolute slam dunk it will only feed the narrative of the radical Trump supporters that the media is trying to help steal the election, provoking Trump and potentially encouraging violence (which I fear anyway).
@SenWarren
Excuse me but if someone has the advantage of a student loan, if they don't complete their degree it's almost always because they were too lazy to do the work, or they weren't college material in the first place.
It's very unfair to burden the public with that kind of debt.
@nancymc303139
@SenWarren
Obama was handed the worst economic meltdown since the Great Depression, thanks in part to Republican deregulation of the financial system which effectively handed the keys to the hen house to the foxes. GOP fought him against raising the min wage, and affordable health care.
@ajplus
The good folks in Maine didn't want to be represented by someone as reprehensible as Leslie Gibson and they made it known. Democracy still works.

@marlene4719
In fairness to Katy Tur she is correct in staying COVID is responsible for massive job losses, stating facts is not "apologizing", but Pelosi is also correct to point to huge job increases under Biden that were far more then the so-called "rebound" jobs.
@MarshaBlackburn
Fact checking, over the last 12 months:
Food: up 2.6% not 21%
Energy: Down 4.6% not up 32%
Overall inflation is up 3.1% which is historically low.
@joncoopertweets
@MikeBloomberg
That's a very powerful ad and obviously will have broad appeal to many voters. Bloomberg's teams is killing it with their ad campaign right now.
@SteveSchmidtSES
@ProjectLincoln
For people that aren't investors it's important to understand that when someone illegally sells off a large portion of stock based on privileged information, it results in the value of everyone's stock losing value. It is essentially the same thing as looting.
@davidhogg111
I really think the need to turn the photos over to the media if the families agree. That would shock the hell out people, and put enormous pressure on the Senate to do something. It worked in the case of Emmitt Till.
@RepNancyMace
Last time I checked no Dem has said they want to set the Constitution aside or be a dictator on day one. Only Orange Jesus said those things.
@RonFilipkowski
I'm glad to know that Congresswoman Mary Miller
@miller_congress
is spending her time investigating important issues like the type of stove the president cooks on. Putting her $174,000 a year salary to good use. Nice job Mar
@JamesSurowiecki
GHWB was also the youngest Navy pilot in history at age 19 and was only 20 when he got shot down. I'm a civilian private pilot and have occasionally experienced a few dicey anxiety creating situations I can only imagine what a combat mission like this might have been like.
@natemax
I do. I masked-up for a year, followed all the rules, got vaccinated as soon as they were available. I'm not masking-up just to protect some snowflake the refuses to get vaccinated - if they get sick, it's on them, not me.
@RpsAgainstTrump
Would be hard to believe Harris loses Wisconsin and Pennsylvania and wins Georgia. That would really turn the electoral map on it's head, but anything is possible.
@harrisonjaime
I'm guessing the Georgia Sec. of State is an honorable public service that doesn't want to stoop to corruption like vote rigging with potentially serious legal consequences. Grahams suggestions are despicable and should pose legal consequences. He should at least be censured.
@funder
1. Selecting Jen Psoki for spokesperson, she's the bridge between the President and the public and is going a great job of keeping the nation and the world informed.
2. Doubling the number of daily COVID vaccines administered per day.
@NancyMace
I think most Americans Rs and Ds have compassion for you as a victim, but as such, it mysterious as to why you would support someone like trump. I appreciate your answer in that it was a civil conviction not criminal, but I think it's weak, and I think you should rethink your
@natemax
@SteveSchmidtSES
I agree unity follows accountability 100% however in the present situation unity will not occur until those that have been brainwashed by Trump understand and accept the fact that the election was fair and Biden won by a significant margin.
@nancymc303139
@SenWarren
Besides the fact that $7.25/hr is poverty wages, there are numerous studies that show that raising the min wage to a point is beneficial to the economy and healthy for businesses.
@POTUS
Sign an executive order to ban those type weapons. Even though it will get immediate legal challenge from the gun lobby it will take them years to battle through court. Save a few childrens' lives if you can with you pen Mr. President.
@funder
3. Rejoining the Paris Peace accords and the WHO.
4. Selecting Merrick Garland for AJ.
5. Reaching out to Republicans on major issues, governing in a bipartisan manner.
@GallihughDeb
@RpsAgainstTrump
If the Pubs win a majority in the House you're going to have a Pub speaker that has those views. I would rather have a patriotic one like Liz Chaney, then a Trump minion.
@RyanAFournier
All I know about Mr. Wonderful is he is a highly successful and ethical businessman. He would do well not to align himself or sympathize with a criminal like trump.
@nowthisnews
I think if it could established by legal precedence that people can be prosecuted for criminal negligence for failure to secure their fire arms it would change a lot of things. I'm not aware of any previous cases like that but good to see this one.
@JoyceWhiteVance
My understanding is the main charge is abstraction of justice which took place after he had left office so it's hard for me to see how the SCOTUS decision would have much if any effect on that.
@RpsAgainstTrump
It's disgusting that a convicted criminal like Bannon is still out there in the public arena, spreading lies and conspiracy theories. I know he has a right to appeal but at times it just seems like our justice system is designed to serve the criminal, not the public.
@RepChuck
I agree with the Pros but you have to add, (1) High capital costs (2) Long term return on investment and (3) fuel disposal issues to the "Cons"
@AmoneyResists
@laurenboebert
I would not be surprised to learn that Bobo replaced the pin remembering Maite Rodriguez with one honoring the AR-15 she was Mordred with.
@coachbrucepearl
She no longer supports that idea. At any rate I don't see how congress would ever have enough votes to put United Health Care, Blue Cross, Cigna etc. out of business.
@B52Malmet
Great Point. We spend hundreds of billions of dollars in military adventures around the world to protect us from potential terrorists, and the real terrorists that pose a clear and present danger brazenly walk our streets unchallenged. It's maddening.
@BasedMikeLee
Can you think of any other ways to waste time and tax payers money? With all the important issues that face the country you want the Senate to spend all it's time for the next month or more on some bogus impeachment that doesn't stand a snowballs chance in hell of actually
@SenWhitehouse
As an Independent, I could accept Trump being exonerated so long as the trial is fair and each side can present it's case, including pertinent docs and witnesses. But if this "trial" turns out to be a cover-up, I will be hard pressed to ever vote for another Republican.
