A few thoughts on the Monaco GP. Leclerc had a chance to deliver and he did. And what a popular victory. Piastri is the real deal! 2nd at his 2nd Monaco GP. But what a dreadful race. Early laps were 7s off pole with dreaded 'tyre management' instead of racing 1/

@NobleF1 Feels a bit subjective. Red Bull may have felt what Hamilton is feeling about the 2014, 15 and 16 Mercedes which lost just 8 races in 3 years. In Australia 2015, Lewis' pole was 1.4s faster than Massa in 3rd

On reflection, I wonder whether racing in the US, where the culture is more open and straightforward, isn't a huge hinderance when entering piranha F1. Our loss.
