Longtime baseball mentor and Malone Baseball Assistant Coach Bob Eaton passed away Friday August 16th. His friendship and coaching will be missed by all that knew him.

Malone lost one of the best players ever to put on a Malone Baseball uniform today. Mick Dwyer passed away this morning. Mick was a class individual that will be missed by all that knew him. Our hearts and prayers go out to Mick’s family and we are always here for them.

Blue Team beats the Red Team on a walk off base hit in the bottom of the 9th by Cade Mottice in the first game of the Bob Starcher Fall Classic. Final score 6-5! Game 2 Monday night at 6:00 PM.

Blue Team beat the Red Team 4-1 in a pitchers duel. Clyde Yoder picked up the win for the Blue Team. Joe Crank went 2-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Hank Smith hit a homerun and had two RBIs. Joe Gallo had a double and a run scored.

Malone Baseball starts our spring trip in Orlando Florida by winning 2 great games against Northwood University. Game (1) 5-0 and Game (2) 13-3. Game 1 - Michael Cook pitched a complete game to pick up his 3rd win on the season giving up only 2 hits and striking out 7.
The Blue Team clinched the Bob Starcher Fall Classic with a 5-2 win over the Red Team. Tommy Walker picked up the win. Nate Cobb,Turner Hill & Joe Crank each had two hits. Jordan Hite, Clay Wisner & Stone King had a hit for the Blue Team. Cam Martin hit a 2 Run HR for Red Team.
