#80aDay means myself & my son could afford to be assessed for ADHD. We could stress less re the cost of our family's regular mental/physical healthcare appointments, necessary car repairs, necessary house repairs etc. On forty a day we drown in credit card debt or go without.

I hope progressive advocates don't go overboard in their advocacy of a rise in the JobSeeker payment. Whatever the social virtues for a rise in JobSeeker, it's a vote loser. Better to devote energy to issues that gain votes & address JobSeeker from govt not perpetual opposition
