@LqLana When I was in HS in Brooklyn, a girl in my class was stabbed and killed. The teacher just announced it as the reason she wouldn't be in class anymore, and then went on with the class. That I still think about that 51 years later, means that there needs to be discussion.

@fawfulfan Just checked, the 4-year city college I went to charges the same as they did in 1977, the year I graduated (adjusted for inflation). My wife and I got grants and worked while going to college and got our degrees. No debt. Maybe people are going to colleges they can't afford?

@russian_mean @FatallyFlawed5 1. What makes you think they want to procreate? I'm married (M-F) and we chose not to have children either. 2. The technology now exists to coax stem cells (even same sex) into gametes (sperm cells). Once mainstream they could procreate without a male's involvement.
