NHL fans should be rooting for the Capitals to make the playoffs. Red Wings - Boring Islanders - Boring Flyers - Boring Capitals? They're gonna play the Hurricanes or Rangers and there's lots of reason for tensions to boil over QUICKLY in both series.

Again, I completely respect Marc Andre Fleury for not wanting to come to the Capitals because of his allegiance towards the Penguins. That's the type of territorial, barbaric tribalism that makes sports fun that I wish we had more of out of professional athletes.

The Ottawa Senators are an awful hockey team. They played last night. To be down 3-1 and essentially 50% or less in all shot metrics (Corsi, Fenwick, Shots, xG) at all strengths and 5v5 is absolutely inexcusable. Anything short of a dominant 3rd period is a very, very bad sign.

Jedi are kind of similar to the Secret Service or the CIA/FBI. Not really in the forefront, only show up when important things happen.
