That large smoke plume you’re seeing is from the Spring Creek Fire near Parachute, Colorado on the western slope. Crews are battling this wildfire, both on the ground and using aircraft. We just wanted to let everybody know that it is not on the Front Range.

We were invited to participate in the Niwot Holiday Parade this morning and had a great time. The A Shift from Niwot's own Station 4 manned the Engine and Sara and Sparky from our Community Outreach Team distributed fun stuff to the spectators. Thanks again Niwot!

Our crews along with Frederick Firestone Fire Rescue units, Dacono PD and CSP responded to reports of a tractor-trailer that had jackknifed and flipped onto its side on I 25 between Highway 52 & Erie Parkway. I-25 closed in that area, find alternate routes. 📸: McConnell

Pictures from our crew at the Pine Gulch fire. They say it has been hot as temperature is near or at 100 daily. Stay safe.
