To say we are extremely disappointed w/ the MIAA TMC’s decision to stick w/ the elimination of the 1A “Super 8” tournament for the next 4 years would be a major understatement! In our opinion, they aren’t doing what is best for both student-athletes & the sport going forward.

On the annual MIAA playoff debate: - Reinstall the Super 8 - for all sports. Multiple Catholic Conference coaches wish for its return, simply for scouting purposes. Without it, they stand to lose more athletes to preps. - Publics have been clamoring for an even playing field.
