The Rawlings gov't piloted the Health Insurance Policy in certain parts of the Northern Region between 1995-1998 for feasibility studies. In 2000, then opposition NPP lampooned the NDC govt on the policy. In 2003, they made it mutual & the NDC came back to make it National.

In 2016, I voted for John Mahama and repeated it in 2020. Though I've not seen my votes materializing into victory, it's been victory upon victory intellectually because the other choice, Akufo Addo, failed the very first day in office when he plagiarized his inaugural speech.

Enonomy under JOHN MAHAMA did so much with so little as Gh¢170 billion as total revenue envelope (both taxes & loans). AKUFO ADDO had 17.6% of the above amount from covid compensation only. Our current situation was highly preventable. A thread of some projects of JM under IMF.
