The trails are now open. All trails have been groomed. We received between 20 and 30 cm of new snow last night. Grooming will continue for the next several days to compact the base. Enjoy!
The base is very thin but all trails can be skied. Stay within your skiing level.
This is the 24th straight day with skiing at Mono Nordic. A tribute to all the work the club volunteers have done for 35 years.
Thanks to everyone who helped to make this such a great season at Mono Nordic. We are blessed to have such great staff, volunteers, coordinators, coaches, athletes, members and visitors who all help to make Mono Nordic a great place to ski. Hope to see you all next season.
A big thank you to our groomers who have been busy all day packing, rolling and grooming the trails. They are now heading back out to set our first tracks of the season.
Thank you so much to our groomers. You keep our trails in great shape all season. If it was not for all of your efforts we could not have had such a successful season. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
We had some new snow, but not enough to groom. Wednesday forecast is for 12 to 20cm. Grooming operations will take place throughout Wednesday to build the base. A decision on trail opening will be made then.
It will be an excellent day for a ski on our groomed trails. Classic track will be best this morning and will soften as the day goes on. Social Ski Group meets this afternoon. Enjoy the trails
@Mononnordic
Volunteers moved snow today onto areas that had iced up. Now we're getting a bit more snow from mother nature. All trails will be in great shape tomorrow for skate and classic. Still not able to set more track but the areas we previously set are still there.
#BestVolunteersEver
Our groomers have done it again. Great conditions for both Skate and Classic. We will groom again in the morning and expect the same good conditions tomorrow!
A Hugh Shout Out to Mono Nordic's Madison Mullin and Alexander Maycock who are having great Canadian Nationals. Madison has 2 silvers medals and Alexander a bronze and 4th place. Congratulations!!
A big “Thank You - 👍” to Mark & David for grooming late 🌌 & early 🌄 when it will get the best results. We'll groom again tomorrow at 6:30am. The hill on Loop D just after “Place Matt” is starting to get low. The rest of the trail is holding up well with lots of +ve comments!
THANK YOU SO MUCH to our Ski Services Staff.
Today, Sunday March 19th, will be the last day the pavilion will be open for trail passes and equipment rentals. Members and guests who pay online or at the honesty box will still be able to ski while trail conditions allow.
We got 10cm of snow overnight and it is still coming down this morning. Our groomers have been out, and continue to be out packing and grooming our trails. A later start today will make for a more enjoyable ski.
Report from groomers: Full groom last evening. Looks really good for skiing on the weekend. All trails track set. In most places, the track set well and deep. All skate lanes had 3 passes. Some small icy, or granular, patches. Enjoy.

It's mighty nice to see our new maintenance and operations building with fresh tracks leading to the trails. We're so grateful to our partners, donors, and the volunteers who gave their time and energy to make this building a reality!

On our new signs, the arrows tell you what trail you are on or how to get to the the coloured arrow trail you want to ski on. The green circle means it is a novice trail, blue square an intermediate trail and black diamond an advanced trail.
Congratulations to Erica Rogers, Meghan Rogers, Leonardo Gojic, Nathan Gojic, Owen Kenny, Declan Kenny and Liam Kenny who had fun, ski some fast times, set some PB's and represented Mono Nordic proudly at the Canadian Eastern Championships this afternoon.
The forecast has changed for the better! We may not get above zero this afternoon so skiing will not damage the trails. Conditions have been fantastic again today and should be the same tomorrow.
It was another gorgeous day for a ski
