Grateful to see my poem “Christ of the Burnt Men” in the winter edition of The Merton Seasonal. It’s form is from one of Merton’s “Songs” & inspired by the epilogue in “Seven Storey Mountain” - his meditations on the joy of solitude in Christ that rejoices in the deepest sorrow.
