I’ve represented Australia in jobs with fancy titles but my most important job title is Dad. When Andrew Bolt went after my daughter, who wants a safe climate future, I felt deeply disrespected. I don’t tolerate abuse. So said goodbye and walked off set. #ClimateHungerStrike

To the people who defaced our #VoteYes garbage bins on referendum day: I wish you freedom from ignorance, anger, jealousy, desire and pride.

Clean energy investor and former independent Senate candidate for the ACT @anthonypesec dropped in to see me today. We bother agreed that what’s good for the weather is good for the wallet. Renewable energy is a win-win for the environment, the economy and energy security.

Mark Richards is a renewable energy investor. He told me this morning that a solar panel in Queensland produces four times more than one in Germany. That’s why Australia can be a renewable energy superpower rather than a fossil fool! @Bowenchris @AlboMP #ClimateHungerStrike

This is Australia today. It’s not even summer. 80 bushfires are burning in Queensland alone. Climate collapse is here now. Australia needs to act immediately. #ClimateActionNow

I’ve got a heart condition but I don't have to die if @AlboMP takes strong climate action & @PeterDutton_MP stops his dirty politics. Albo can show leadership & bravery. Dutton can show what real patriotism is. Every visitor & every hug keeps me going. #ClimateHungerStrike

It’s 5am on Day 12 of my #ClimateHungerStrike . I’m here waiting for @AlboMP @PeterDutton_MP and every elected representative in Parliament House to explain why they aren’t doing enough for a safe future for our kids and our country. I’ve gone too far now. I won’t give up.

A steady and growing stream of visitors today. Jill and Len dropped in to introduce themselves. Jill’s a doctor and promised to swing past next week to check up on me. I have a heart condition so will be grateful for that. #ClimateHungerStrike

My key #ClimateHungerStrike demands are rational, science-based & what’s needed to protect our national, economic & human security. 1. End fossil fuel subsidies. 2. End coal and gas exports. 3. End native forest logging. 4. Consider climate impacts. 5. Be transparent in risks.

I just called @tanya_plibersek office and told them I have ecological grief from the destruction she’s approving and will devote myself to displacing @AustralianLabor at the next election with credible independents like @DavidPocock and @spenderallegra . Call her on 02-62777920

Bulldozers have begun clearing high-quality savanna woodland at Darwin's Lee Point, tragically erasing biodiversity and cultural values. Approval of this project highlights how broken our national environmental laws are. Contact Minister @tanya_plibersek now and demand new

This is what Australia is doing to its native forests! My son was devastated when I showed him. Native forest logging destroys habitat & stored carbon. And causes more catastrophic fires. That’s why an end to it is one of my #ClimateHungerStrike demands.👇🏽

I’ve just made it 4,900km across Australia from the Indian Ocean to the Pacific Ocean in five weeks. 100km tomorrow to Bondi and then I’m done. From Whadjuk Nyoongar country to D’harawal country. #eBike4Australia 🚴🏽‍♂️🚴🏽‍♂️🚴🏽‍♂️💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

Here’s what’s really subsuming prime agricultural land in SA. It’s not wind farms. It’s new housing estates, like these on prime wheat and canola country. If Barnaby Joyce and David Littleproud really cared about people in the Bush, they’d deal with this. #eBike4Australia

@AmboRudd @Mike_Pence @mikepompeo @KellyannePolls @ScoMo30 As an Australian public servant you should not be promoting the commercial interests of a former Prime Minister. Nor should you be spruiking religion. Australia is a secular democracy!
