Had to drive today, and received this note on my windshield after following Seattle law and parking 5’ from a driveway.
This is critical for the safety of all road users, including drivers. Daylighting driveways and intersections greatly increases visibility.

Mom was picked up by

THANK YOU to everyone who helped boost the message.
After FINALLY seeing the Tesla Cybertruck in person yesterday, I can confidently say that groceries for a family of 4 wouldn’t fit in the front trunk.
That’s why, as a proud American, I decided to choose Ford’s all-electric pickup for my family!
It’s American-made* and has
Time's up. We must pass aggressive climate action at the local, state, and federal levels. We can't do that without electing the right people to office.
Last night Americans from Florida to Washington state lost an hour of sleep for no good reason.
I have a bill that would stop this antiquated and ridiculous tradition of changing our clocks by making Daylight Saving Time permanent.
When cities don’t allow housing you’re promoting the clear cutting of lots on dead-end roads in rural areas, a 20min drive from essential services.
Increasing car dependency, financially unsustainable, terrible for the environment, increasing

inequities.

Excited to share that today is my first day at
@KingCountyMetro
!
Humbled to join the Community Engagement team, working with communities and residents to get people where they need to go, when they need to - safely, equitably, and sustainably.

Seeing so many articles about
#ebike
sales booming. Yeah, it’s because they kick ass, are super fun, and can replace a ton of inefficient car trips.
Just like this morning’s 5-bag grocery run.

If you’re a coach operator saying, “Have a good day! Watch your step! You’re welcome dear!” to every single rider getting off the bus, I am 1 million percent submitting a commendation for you.

GSD is the largest contributor to my reduction in driving.
2,260 miles entirely for transportation.
I see so many people on

and can only imagine how much safer and how many more people would ride if we had better infrastructure.

Had to

an errand to Alderwood Mall. I’ve never found official bike parking so I always chain up to this bench or fence in front of

. Can REI put racks in..?
Also, crossing 99 is never fun as the bike lanes just disappear on both sides. 👻

Hi Mayor, 2023 YTD (just ten full months) 69 pedestrians have been hit by drivers in your city
@WAFederalWay
. I encourage you to review each one and see how drivers are hitting people on sidewalks, in marked crosswalks, etc.

Spent my transit time talking to a 94yo great grandmother, originally from South Korea. She uses a walker and doesn’t drive.
“It’s Sunday, very few buses,” she said.

Almost 6 years ago I had a vasectomy, at the age of 32. It was quick, painless, and I was fully recovered within a few days.
My cis dudes, in addition to supporting abortion and reproductive rights, please consider going to take care of yourselves.

🤞I'll soon be serving on the

"We envision a future where all Snohomish County residents have safe and affordable housing. Where community becomes opportunity and where housing becomes a home." 🏘️🏡

Long but gorgeous day of riding up Whidbey to Anacortes and then down to Smokey Point to bus home.

The concern around affordability when it comes to missing middle housing is “odd.”
The Association of Washington Housing Authorities supports HB 1110.
#WALeg
members talking “affordability” should follow the advice of the orgs that provide income-eligible housing!

I know some transit agencies don’t like to talk about it, but being able to take a bus (or train) to and from locations where you will drink alcohol is absolutely the safest option.

I was heckled in Edmonds for saying that transportation is our largest greenhouse gas emitter and maybe we should do more about that. 🥸

It’s a beautiful evening!
No one wants more transit, or more people on transit, than transit agencies and their employees.
Have a great night! 🥰🚍🚆🚉

There are no safe crossings (in any direction) of Highway 99 or SR104 within the orange shape. Accepting the years-long approach to building safe systems is accepting the injury and fatalities that are happening now along this corridor, Seattle to Everett.

Officers are on scene of a vehicle/pedestrian collision in the 24100 block of Highway 99. Pedestrians was struck by a vehicle as the pedestrian was running across the highway, not in a cross walk.
