Due to some complications behind the scenes which I won't get into, I'm looking for additional work in social media/community management - specialising in Rocket League but open to anything.
I'm currently freelancing with BLAST as SMM for
@RLEsports
- full resume found below.
Hey all, got some news to share!
After almost 4 years of working on the
@LiquipediaRL
account, I'm thrilled to announce that I will now also be helping out with coverage for the
@RLEsports
account!
I'm very honored & thankful to the Psyonix esports team for the opportunity! ❤️
Right, finally can take a breather from this for the first time in 5 years.
I loved voluntarily building this brand here from the very beginning, but it's reached a point where I don't see a reason to sweat over it every day when I have very similar positions for other brands
This isn't goodbye; it's just see you later. 👋
As of this post, this account will be going inactive/on a break for some time.
How long? Could be days, could be weeks, or could be months. It particularly depends on certain ambitions and plans to be able to work on this account
Welp, our plan for cosmetics with the ratings update didn’t hit the mark.
We're working on a few new options that we hope to have in place for say... some sort of big in-game event. Stay tuned, we’ll keep you posted <3
Dear Twitter,
Please explain to me your logic of verifying Rocket League players that use Liquipedia as their proof of identification but then choose not to verify Liquipedia Rocket League itself, making absolutely ZERO sense.
Kind regards,
Malding Lukasz
Biggest dub of this LAN:
No player has been reported to be tested positive for COVID throughout the duration of the event.
Congrats to Psyonix and ESL/DreamHack for putting on a safe event for everyone and making it one of the most entertaining at the same time. 🐐
Kronovi announcing his retirement on the first day of 2022 is something I wasn't ready for.
My 2016-self's heart of watching RLCS in Season 1 is crying right now. Absolute icon of the esports scene.
It was a good run 🫡
As of right now, I’m not set to coordinate any socials coverage for
@RLEsports
for the 2024 RLCS season.
It’s been an incredible 2 seasons though to be in a dream position. In the meantime, I’ll be looking for other part time jobs in the marketing realm

i'm going through the rlcs london major photos to update on liquipedia.
my notes so far:
- i hate getting a picture of chronic because his hair is always in the way of his eyes
- i am still struggling sometimes to differentiate the twins
- tempted to use this pic for drufinho
2023 will probably be my last year running the
@LiquipediaRL
account.
From what was just a voluntary experiment to test out a socials account for a wiki, to becoming one of the most popular hubs for RL Esports on Twitter, I feel like after 5 years I've done everything I could.
RLCS 2025 might be special.
- 10-year anniversary of the game
- Experimental addition of 1v1s, crowning two sets of champions each LAN
- LCQs over the summer
- Building from the foundations of the 'transition' year under BLAST after a successful Worlds
Lots to look out for.
I don't wanna overreact, because I do wanna give this RLCS season a shot if things stay as they are following the announcement.
But if I don't feel comfortable or motivated with the direction of the league after a few weeks, I will not put any more voluntary effort towards
One of the biggest Ls for this announcement to me is that all 7 RLCS regions play every weekend on the same stage.
How are community resources meant to keep up with this that so many people rely on, how are viewers meant to follow their favourite teams across different regions.
The Rocket League Discord has been a home for me for a few good years where I found a lot of friends within the esports community that I interact with on the daily and even currently work with.
So this title is a cool piece of memorabilia that I'll definitely value :)
Throughout the day in
#RLCS
today, I saw a few players repping Ukrainian colors for their cars. Intentional or not for some of these, it's a pretty nice touch you love to see. 🇺🇦
Might as well make it formally known - I have been coordinating live coverage once again for
@RLEsports
this RLCS Season 🙏🏻
I’ve been doing it since March around the end of Split 1 along with the Copenhagen Major. Looking forward to the rest of the season with London & Worlds!
- John Cena follows entire RL community
- John Cena part of new Fast & Furious movie
- Fast & Furious DLC for Rocket League announced
With all of this it obviously means John Cena is the special guest caster for RLCS X Championships. Genius.
I appreciate the love with the whole socials thing for RLEsports but let's just give it time and see how it evolves.
I'm certain whoever is running it is trying their best and may be new to the space. Yes, for us as a community it might be weird and difficult to get used to,
To take away some focus from the RLCS announcement, - which I've slept over and am feeling better about - today marks 7 years since
@GarrettG
joined NRG.
Absolutely insane length for esports in general. Honestly, he and NRG should aim to complete the full decade now 😭
ANNOUNCEMENT TIME 🥳
Very excited to share that I'll be part of the Social Media crew for

at the

Spring Major in London!
I am so hyped and grateful to be working my first LAN event at the same place I attended my first RLCS Worlds.
See ya at the Copper Box! ❤️
Am I missing something about the capacity for the Major?
RLCS Majors always used to hold around 4,000-5,000 attendees, so I don’t really understand the concerns on that part.
Hey! Should have been a few years earlier, but we lagged.
Follow us to get your first hand updates and info from the Liquipedia RL Wiki as well as facts around the pro scene.
One thing to take note of is that this
#RLCS
Worlds had so much more and higher quality side content pieces than Season 8.
Rizzo's Retirement, CJCJ's Farewell Piece, Parents of Players, The 1v1s/Freestyle, 'This is Rocket League' skits, etc. So much work has been put into this.
If there’s 1 unusual thing I’ll never forget about this esport is Liquipedia getting called out in 2021 during the RLCS announcement stream with a tease of a new Rocket League Esports site that never came out.
As it turns out, exactly 7 years ago, I started volunteering for Liquipedia by contributing to the Rocket League wiki.
7 years later, I worked my second RLCS World Championship and first as a lead role for social media. I’m blessed and honoured to be part of this community.
You know, I prefer the headline:
"RLCS World Championship Season 9 Cancelled"
than the potential of:
"Several people infected with Coronavirus during RLCS Season 9 Worlds"
Health and safety first.
The Los Angeles Lakers are selecting Bronny James with the No. 55 pick in the 2024 NBA draft, sources say. LeBron and Bronny James to become the first ever father-son duo to be in the NBA at the same time.
Should we just universally call these 'Open Qualifiers' 'Regionals' like usual?
I tried sticking to the 'Open Qualifier' memo but then the broadcast just faded away to calling this a 'Regional' 😭
How about we call it an 'Open Regional'
Liquipedia Rocket League Wiki Page Views year by year:
2016 (started in June): 637,113
2017: 6,188,501
2018: 10,175,225
2019 (up to 17th December): 19,569,356
Total: 36,570,195

20 million for 2019 on the horizon, incredible 😄
A successful Rocket League pro's career begins with them asking for a Liquipedia page and getting a response along the lines of "no lol, get notable first by our guidelines"
There's a £10,000 2s tournament coming up in EU (UK specifically), and I'm not gonna lie, this rulebook point - you'll know which one - is probably the most hilarious one I've ever seen.

Twitter Update:
As things currently stand, the account will go inactive on September 1st, but not permanently.
The account (and me) will go on a temporary break as we try to figure out future plans of it given the feedback of how much the account is valued.
I know Gamers8 has been causing a lot of issues, but it also has been dreadful to cover as a wiki editor.
With just a few days until the tournament, we have no idea about the schedule, all teams taking part, the prize split & other small stuff. This is a $2 million tourney man.
Today marks 5 years since I joined to volunteer at Liquipedia Rocket League - half a decade! 🥳
Without LP, I wouldn't be where I'm at now with Liquid and RLCS Socials for Psyonix, and likely wouldn't be part of the esports industry.
I'm fortunate but thankful to be here. 🥰
RLCS Season X was announced on July 1st, 2020.
Now it ends on June 20th, 2021 - what a wild ride it was for almost a year. I LOVED the circuit format - massive improvement in all factors from what we've had previously in League Play.
What a chapter for Rocket League Esports. ♥️
Was completely moved emotionally by the mass of supportive messages from yesterday's announcement, whether it was on Twitter, Reddit, Discord, etc. - just wanna say thanks to everyone. Rocket League has been my home for several years and the community is the main reason for it.
Throughout today, I tried my best to not cry but the emotions got the best of me after the Grand Finals.
Working this RLCS World Championship meant so much to me after being in the scene for so many years - I’ll never forget this day.
Thank you everyone.
One last comment about the announcement - incredibly sad about the apparent disappearance of the RLCS Worlds Wildcard.
It was perfect in 2021-22, then we lost the crowd in 2022-23 and now nothing for 2024 I guess, just the Main Event.
Was such a good addition, hate to see it go
1,000 days ago I decided to start contributing to Liquipedia RL.
If you told me at that time where I would find myself after all of that, I wouldn't believe you. I've learnt a lot and experienced many memorable moments. Can't wait for what's to come next.
I've gone ahead and updated most of the players' and casters' Liquipedia profile pictures that were a part of the 2023
#RLCS
World Championship!
I'll take a look at Gamers8 pictures at some point later on.
Saying "kill yourself" to someone as a response of being "a consequence of spamming in quick chat" is fucking unacceptable. There is nothing funny in that.
Same goes towards attempting to vandalize players' wiki pages. Contributors like that are not welcome and will be banned.
