New video is on Cryptmaster!
A dungeon crawler where your necromancer overlord helps your party play 20 Questions and obliterate creatures with obscure vocabulary words.
There's also a fishing mini-game.
Just had a nightmare where Linus Tech Tips showed up in my apartment. He added RBG lights onto my dishwasher spray arm and made the front glass to show it off. When he opened it offering me a closer look I peered inside and he shoved me in and I woke up with a falling sensation.
I decided to

and try Hyenas yesterday and it was one of the most absolutely cynical games I've played in my life, which is one hell of a bar. It makes the tone of something like Borderlands seem utterly sincere.
NEW: Marathon's creative direction has reportedly shifted under Ziegler's leadership, "moving away from custom player characters in favor of a selectable cast of heroes."

As some of you noticed, the Anonymous Agony video got a copyright takedown. I decided to eat the strike and dispute it through the proper channels rather than do any new edit or delete the video to avoid it, so I'm taking care of it on the backend.
But for now, Haze is gone.
In Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011 canon there's a section where you learn snippets about "Project Nightfall" that highly implies they were trying to turn baboons into super soldiers.
I've gotten messages from a few devs by now about this, and I sort of wish they remotely made it sound like me instead of what looks like plugging it into ChatGPT, but I can promise I'm not soliciting anyone for keys or cash for coverage in exchange for these epic gamer moments.
Damn
@Lord_Mandalore
outing yourself as a 'dedicated gamer' in this email I just got from '''you'', requesting 2 keys for our game lmao
Very kind of '''you''' to offer to: "throw in my signature move: the dramatic 'epic gamer moment' narration" which ofc you're known for

Barely a week after Boltgun and the System Shock remake comes out tomorrow, and there's an Aliens tactics game later in the month. I swear there's been something new coming out roughly every 2 weeks this year I've been interested in playing and I'm not used to this.

Someone reached out to say that my video on NecroVisioN was a university homework assignment they got for an American History course last year.
I thought it was a joke at first.
What.
For this Halloween video, I wanted to take a trip away from the fantastical and instead see the horrors of the most deadly hyper realistic animals the Cabela's brand could provide while chasing the Call of Duty audience.
Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2013!
Burning from fever and illness so naturally I played FNAF Security Breach. I don't know how to describe it other than it's like a company thought System Shock 2 could be a choking hazard and this was their solution.
Earlier today, it was announced that the game Devotion is coming to GOG. After receiving many messages from gamers, we have decided not to list the game in our store.
Thanks to the magic of virtual audio cables, it's possible that Spotify can be playing a Top 50 Pop Songs chart playlist and you don't notice during video games . . . but Shadowplay sure picks it up.
This was the first clip I clicked on and I lost my mind.
In the new ULTRAKILL update, you do in fact get to hear me play the famed Aztec death whistle that was meant for thwarting the neighbors.
Life is funny sometimes.
I'll be taking it easy for the next while. To be honest the past two months especially have been brutal with life events but I still have tons to be grateful for. It's Christmas Eve after all.
Have a wonderful holiday!
So the elephant boss fight apparently DID EXIST but was stopped by elephant ivory trade being a news cycle hot topic. Makes the rhino replacement funnier.
Also a L4D PVP mode with elite animals and hordes which explains some of the huge areas the multiplayer already has in it.
Okay he's been at it nearly two weeks and I was already trying to figure out some winter videos, so Arcanum will come.
THIS WILL NEVER WORK AGAIN ARTISTS DON'T TRY IT.
Was doing some cleaning and found my old and busted up GameSphere, but it still works. Is there any proper emulator for it nowadays? Last I checked GSSX2 still has tons of graphical errors and it doesn't deserve that.
It's spherical. SPHERICAL.
Still hoping to have the Factorio video out next week but there's a chance of delay since the gender reveal wildfire burned down a family farm and it's causing a lot of complications.
2020 has been giving us all kinds of new sentences.
The Nemesis System patent reminds me of Layers of Fear remixing a TON of elements from PT and I was cool with that and actually wanted to make a video on it. Come to find out Bloober Team patented their dual-world system for the Medium and that really soured me on them.
Thief: The Black Parade, an unofficial expansion campaign for Thief Gold, just came out after nearly a decade. I'm barely into the first level and already blown away by how much higher the production value is while keeping everything feeling authentically Thief.
The Forest was the first video where I was able to play the game, do the editing and everything else while using my office chair the entire time since my spinal disc got fucked up last year. Videos have still been going slower than I'd like, but I'm grateful for the support.
A comment on the video pointed out that the production manager was Guillaume de Fondaumiรจre. I looked it up and he became company president but resigned during Ring 2's production.
He then joined Quantic Dream and is the current COO.
Ring is David Cage primordial soup.
One of the Genesis Rising devs reached out, and apparently some of them are still in games working on RIPOUT and you can see their art style living on in FPS form.
New video is on Amnesia A Machine for Pigs. The Amnesia sequel developed by a different studio that has many, many pigs and you can call anything a pig if you want to. I can't stop it. Pigs.
I like the idea of finally playing Kingdom Hearts when it comes to PC, but at the same time I'm not sure it beats the enjoyment of seeing snippets of it out of context for years with no clue what's happening. Somehow Pooh Bear is involved in the war for the multiverse.
Got surprise jumpscared by my own video coming out a bit early since I'm finishing subtitles, but the next one is on Arcanum. An endlessly fascinating RPG from the original creators of Fallout.
It seemed like a good day to finally post a video about Myth: The Fallen Lords. An early RTS/tactics game where magic explodes your enemies into gibs and is fueled by eldritch dreams not fully understood.
After putting it off FAR too long, the new video is on Homeworld Deserts of Kharak which took the setting from space to sand. It also reminds me of how atrocious the Mortal Engines movie was as an adaptation.
I also just realized I directly typed "RBG" lights because he kept loudly calling them that and that's absolutely gonna intrude on me for the rest of my days now. I didn't even watch any Linus videos about PCs recently I saw one about TVs a few days ago.
I've only talked about one of the video games, but tabletop wise Pathfinder is a great system that Paizo has taken excellent care of. Near every D&D DM I know had moved over or was in the process of moving over to 2E way before this month.
New video is on Genesis Rising. An obscure sci-fi strategy game where mankind rules the universe with living spaceships fueled by blood, and that's the most normal part compared to the rest of it.
Newest video is on System Shock 2, along with the absolutely fantastic community patch mod that fixes a lot of what I suspect Looking Glass would have if they just had some more time.
New video is on Frictional's Penumbra Trilogy. The precursor to the Amnesia series which traps you in Northern Greenland fighting strange creatures and the remains of a secret society. And many, many dogs.
Some good news: weโve made updates to improve video quality.
Starting today, videos you upload to Twitter will appear less pixelated for a better watching experience.
New video is on the fanmade expansion The Black Parade for Thief: The Dark Project. It's ten missions of nothing but home runs, and the series hitting its high point 25 years after launch. Hands down one of the best things I've played this year.
I know the last day or so has seemed out of the blue for me, so I wrote up what happened on my end.
TL;DR: I'm an idiot who shouldn't have retweeted anything without better insight and I'm sorry for any inadvertent damage I did.
