London fullback Alex Walker played the full 80 minutes with 3 dislocated fingers and one broken after the first set of 6 vs Toronto in their 4-2 MPG victory.
AFC Wimbledon have reported they have received an offer by London Broncos for a ten year ground share starting from 2021.
Plough Lane has a capacity of 9,300, 5 transport links and 800 conference and banqueting spaces.
How is nearly 10,000 watching a promotion decider in Canada not welcomed by rugby league fans? Likely more here than in Wigan last night in the Super League playoff semi-final!
The 2024 Conference League South.
Is this the start of a solid foundation to grow rugby league in the south away from the amateur and useless RFL?
What do the RFL actually do to support the game south of the M62? Do they actually do anything or are the clubs left alone?
So Toronto enter League 1 and the RFL change the salary cap to accomodate them. Now they didn't get promoted, Championship teams will be allowed more quota spots than Super League. If this doesn't sound like moving the goalposts for one club, nothing will!
10 players out of London's 17 today are academy products.
No argument London brings a lot to the sport in terms of producing quality players and a great player pool.
Super League fans bickering over a very very low salary cap makes our sport a joke tbh.
The cap is millions of pounds behind RU and NRL and really holding the sport back. Stop accommodating teams who can't pay players against clubs who want to grow the game and sign the best.
Toronto want to sign Canada players, a new club in Ottawa, a club in New York. Catalans aiming to win Super League signing the likes of Kasiano, Tolouse playing excellent RL and London all over the papers after shocking Super League!
Rugby league is evolving.
Two historic wins for Hammersmith based teams Wests Warriors and Hammersmith Hills Hoists who both beat established heartland clubs to progress to Round 3 of the Challenge Cup.
Flying the flag of London Rugby League amateur talent!
London Broncos are a different club to before. Built on the foundation of youth from the academy with a head coach who started at the club as the strength and conditioning coach.
What a story. What a year!
We are back once again in Super League!!!

Director of Rugby Mike Eccles speaks after earning promotion to Super League
Incredible scenes as the celebrations are underway and emotions are flowing in Toulouse 👏
Why do we keep asking this stupid question? Do we need two clubs in the Wigan Borough? Do we need a team in Castleford? Do we need a team in Huddersfield?
London Broncos will be running a reserve team in 2020 in the Super League reserves alongside 14 other teams including Newcastle.
Good for the sport? Giving playing time to more and more players and a pathway into the three leagues.
It's literally beyond me how rugby union has a packed out stadium to watch that crap. NZ kick off, SA get the ball and straight away kick it out into touch 😂😂
It's a penalty shootout competition that's all.
Northern clubs asking Cornwall to drop out the cup shows the sport is contracting.
Along with the poor crowds v Tonga, Samoa tests being cancelled, clubs dropping out of League 1 etc, it's time we have a grown up discussion about the RFL.
A vote of no confidence from us.

My brother is football mad and has no interest in rugby league or follows the sport. Today he spoke about Sonny Bill Williams and how he saw the press conference at the Emirates.
This is what Toronto are doing.
This is absolutely ridiculous. This is a blatant removal of finances from Catalans Dragons and giving that money to the established heartlands clubs.
What the f*ck is wrong with Super League and the RFL shooting themselves in the foot so many times......
French clubs face future uncertainty over Super League central distribution as Catalans set to subsidise all Super League clubs' away travel from 2025.
That grin on David Hughes' face! All of his hard work and money investing in the academy has paid off and he's now got Super League back at London Broncos.
What a legend! Wins promotion for London Broncos in Canada last week, flies back to England. Then hops on a plane to Australia and helps Malta win a trophy!
This time last week Jarrod Sammut was preparing to play for
@LondonBroncosRL
in the Million Pound Game in Toronto, today he helped Malta win the Emerging Nations World Championship in Sydney
London vs Leeds looks to be the biggest game at Vallis Way for the Broncos. 2 massive points on offer and already over 2,000 tickets sold, biggest RL crowd for the Broncos in many seasons.
With 'buy everyone we want' Toronto capturing all the headlines and media, the great work of London Broncos to quietly step into super league again is finally being noticed. No overspending, neat ground, lots of talented local players!
📋 London Broncos are one step away from returning to Super League after beating Halifax 23-16 and booking their place in the Million Pound Game.
Read here:
Rugby League needs to suport clubs like Tolouse. The game needs London, Catalans, Tolouse, Newcastle, North Wales, Cornwall, Midlands to be strong clubs.
We need strong domestic teams to also grow the domestic game. Hold Welsh internationals at the updated Wrexham stadium.
It's been a good weekend for the two French pro clubs, topped off with a healthy turn-out of 4,806 in Toulouse for their crunch victory over Halifax.
That's a decent knock considering the Olympians haven't been at home for TWO MONTHS...

FT | Challenge Cup | Wests Warriors 28-22 Rochdale Mayfield.
London team Wests Warriors beat established heartlands conference premier side to progress to round 3 of the Challenge Cup!
Now the task. Stay in Super League, keep Sammut and Cunningham, buy some extra quality and get Ealing rocking. Massive for the London born and bred players.
London Broncos in the national newspapers, in the evening standard and commentary back on BBC Radio London and Radio 5 Live. Super League back in the Capital is only a big positive for rugby league
Challenge Cup Round 3: The South London Derby!
Hopefully many
@LondonBroncosRL
fans can give their support in person or just online.
A historic clash.

So much negativity. Still 2 rounds left! We are not down yet. We have a very budget squad hugely overpeforming which everyone should be very proud of. Stop complaining!
London Broncos add nothing to Rugby League according to some.
Young Bill Leyland from Maidstone, Kent is the 2023 Championship Young Player of the Year.
The Broncos academy pathway is 🔥🔥
Moving the grand final to the Etihad makes sense to me. And moving the Challenge Cup final to Tottenham.
The RFL are hemorraging money and its not a good look on TV with both Old Trafford and Wembley having sections of empty seats.
OT is falling apart and Wembley is too big!
Another big result today and we keep climbing up the table. Some brilliant rugby again today. Salford fans.... GET TO THE AJ BELL! Next weeks game is going to be HUGE. Let's get behind the boys and push for that top 5 spot. We can do it
Toronto unveiling the world's highest ever paid player in both codes in the commercial centre of the world, London.
The Wolfpack are literally going to the next level and hopefully will drag the rest of the clubs along the way.
London Broncos and Ealing will upgrade Vallis Way to a capacity of 4,080 initially with a 1,040 additional stand in a winter development to host Super League.
This is why rugby league has failed to grow. The RFL appoint an independent, experienced company to reimagine how the sport is run and how to grow it and all that happens is some championship club goes to parliament to oppose it 🤔🤨🤦
🏉 Keighley Cougars go to Parliament. The Sports Minister, Rt Hon Stuart Andrew MP together with Robbie Moore MP met with Cougars owners Kaue Garcia and Ryan O'Neill to hear their objections to the IMG proposed cartel.

The North has a strong playing pool with a vast of pro, semi pro and amateur teams all playing close to each other.
Rugby league in the south and London must work closely together to develop their own player pool and strong competitions to even compete.
We MUST save the Skolars
Week by week I'm losing my interest and hope in professional rugby league with the new grading criteria. There's no focus or reward to producing players and running academies and pathway structures.
I don't think I'm the only person losing interest and hope too.
79 - Try for Hull FC.
A try at the death for Morgan Smith and FC will take the win. McIntosh kicks the extras. Heartbreaking finish for London.
HULL FC 28-24 BRONCOS
The average age of Danny Ward's 2020 London Broncos is just 22 years old. Who should he recruit to add some more experience around the youngsters.
Also the most impressive thing is 14 out of the 25 man squad came through the London Broncos academy! 2 more are southerners.
Congratulations Leigh. But how, how, how could you reject Tolouse with better criteria but go for another M62 team and one from Wigan.....
More shortsightedness once again. Kick Toronto out for a club in Wigan.
Why are people complaining that only 3 NRL games are on Sky Sports..... that's 5-6 live rugby league matches per week on Sky plus Toronto fixtures on Premier. And Rugby AM on Freesports. We're doing well on TV!
Fact, London Broncos this season are hugely more competitive and respected than past Super League seasons. Blooding many home grown players into Super League and on a small budget.
Super League star and St Helens captain Jon Wilkin is expected to meet London Broncos officials to discuss a one year deal for 2019. Wilkin has played 429 SL games, 10 England caps and 6 GB caps.
The new London Broncos stand at Trailfinders Sports Ground will also contain a new bar and a club shop. About time the club adopt a permanent home and develop it as they go along!
30 year Tottenham-born winger and fullback Iliess Macani is heading into his 7th season at London Broncos.
The ever-reliable Londoner has scored 62 tries in 126 games, an average of a try every 2 games.
Macani has also played for London Skolars, Bradford and Sheffield.
Next season is going to be a pointless season. Might as well stick two fingers up to the RFL and IMG and compete as hard as possible. Give players super league experience as obviously we're back in the Championship in 2025 whatever we do.
Toronto Wolfpack are back!! 🐺 The closed minded M62ers said for foreign clubs to make their own league. So they did! You watch England's semi-pro player pool get smaller as they go to the USA and Canada. Their gain, our loss for being small minded.
Then go full time. How is it farcical? No one complained that London had to go to Toronto to get promoted? No one moaned when London was relegated 'the mortgages, food blah blah'. No one moaned Catalans had to travel to Wembley to play for a cup.
Only moan when it's the north
This has been a fantastic opening test for England. Proper rugby league. Hard hitting, fast paced, tight scoreline. Just the advert on the pitch for the BBC audience.
Imo the long term goal of London Broncos is not only just get a Super League spot but to have a world class academy on par with Wigan and Leeds.
There's so much talent in the south and it would pay for itself if it's producing top class SL players freeing up money for signings.
The 2024 Conference League South.
Is this the start of a solid foundation to grow rugby league in the south away from the amateur and useless RFL?
What do the RFL actually do to support the game south of the M62? Do they actually do anything or are the clubs left alone?
London Broncos are apparently in talks with St Helens to transfer duo Kyler Amor (31) and Ryan Morgan (28) for 2019.
The Saints are looking to free up cap space and will pay off the remainder of their contracts to allow them to transfer to the capital.
England vs New Zealand 2015, London: 44,000 (67,000 in 2013)
Catalans vs Wigan 2019, Barcelona: 31,000 (18,000 in 2009)
England vs New Zealand, Denver: 19,000.
Rugby League has appeal outside the heartlands with big games. Fact.
London Broncos now move to 3rd in the Betfred Championship. Danny Ward's men producing the results in key end to the season with 5 wins and a draw in a row including key wins over rivals Fax and Fev.
The capital brings nothing to Rugby League 😉
Oh wait one of the biggest amateur clubs in rugby league has been knocked out the Cup in a big upset yesterday 🎉
There was a big shock in the Challenge Cup this afternoon! Acton-based Wests Warriors have beaten one of the biggest clubs in the amateur game.
A tie against a Championship or League 1 club could be coming!
#RugbyLeague
Mike Eccles hits out at IMG and the RFL over London Broncos not being rewarded for producing players in the south and Hughes pumping hundreds of thousands of pounds into the London Broncos Academy for the benefit of rugby league outside the heartlands.
Lots of traditional clubs going bust with Barrow having £7.50 in the bank. Don't blame expansion clubs like London, Catalans, Newcastle, Toulouse, Toronto. Blame the poor management and not moving with the times.
London Broncos vs Catalans Dragons is incoming and it's heartening to hear that there could be over 5,000 people in attendance as the Super League returns to London for the first time in five years.
I'd take a London team who lives together, socializes together, trains hard and works hard for each other with an excellent coach other one filled with Aussies any day of the week!
What do all of the players have in common? They want to prove everyone wrong.
It's amazing that the Super League record crowd is beaten by 6,000 in a stadium 1,847 miles from Wigan by a Catalan team.
And yet still owners, Elstone, fans want to keep Super League in the M62 and complain about lack of TV money and revenue.....
London Broncos were relegated. Had a poor 2015 in the Championship. Then developing a team full of committed northern, welsh, overseas & southern players over 3 seasons have produced the results without overspending. Plus downsizing moving to Ealing & building from the bottom up.
