Self-appointed logistics tsar. Only question you need to answer is, can we out-sustain the enemy? ‘Just in Time’ is for bluffing charlatans, not professionals.

I think it’s time the Armed Forces restarted an internally provided bachelors degree programme. Annual intake of 300 students who have passed a tri-Service officer selection board. 6 courses. 1/4

Now that students are coming out of universities with questionable degrees and near 6-figure debt I believe there would be high competition for this. Meaning we could be pretty selective. Just a thought. 4/4

Probably 5 year minimum service? Degrees on offer should be: 1. Civil/construction Engineering. 2. Aeronautical Engineering. 3. Something Logistics. 4. International Relations / Diplomacy. 5. Something computer science. 6. China Studies. 3/4

50 students on each course. Ideally this would be based somewhere attractive, like Greenwich. If we can stop the Defence estate fire sale madness. 3 years degrees with some OTC (tri-S equivalent) alongside. Followed by entry to one of the officer academies. 2/4

Interesting news: the Swedish and Norwegian defence forces are together buying up to 120 #railway wagons to increase the capacity to move military materiel, including tanks.

Options to live where you like once trained. No restrictions on nationality. Organised in units but very loosely. Central ops room to coordinate work. To cover all trade issues on the Defence estate. 2/5

Non-deployable but option to deploy under special conditions if a volunteer 5 year return of service once qualified. Pay adjusted to keep pace with local trade rates. Secondary role to support MACA. Driver training in addition. 3/5
