20/7/22 was the end of a truly incredible era. Mrs Simmons retired after 37 yrs at the school as a teacher and eventually,an LSO. Mrs Simmons, a local girl,was also a pupil of the school! Her endless energy, positivity and warmth around the school will be missed!

Well done to Taya in yr 6 who played her final
@BDSRU11s
game tonight against Swansea. Mr Richards and Mrs Muir thoroughly enjoyed, particularly the long range try at the end!
What an adventure delivering selection boxes around Wild Mill today. It was wonderful to see so many welcoming and familiar faces from Christmas past and present. What a great community! We couldn't have done it without our Elves though. They were amazing! 💛💙💛💙
The children asked for another beach trip and swim tonight, so that's what we did! The weather was 😍☀️! Another hour or two in the water banked, and memories to last a lifetime! 🌊
We have arrived safe and sound at the Hotel. Lovely rooms in a hotel so close to the beach you can smell the sea. Nos da mums/mams and dads. Keep your eyes peeled for more Tweets tomorrow. We're off to the Goat farm 1st thing.
Another great community night for the annual Litchard Primary/FOLPS and St Athan Band Christmas Carol evening. Thanks to all that came and kicked off the festive period

who put up a stiff challenge in the cup final. The players were a credit to their school. Great to see the boys and girls together at the end. Behaviour and attitude during and after the game was something to be proud of for both schools!
It looks like we've had a visitor in the night. The famous graffiti artist James Ame aka 'Ame72' has been at work again! Inspired by the school's inclusive attitude to pupils like Hollie Evans (the H on the arm stands for Hollie)

Last night was a special evening at Litchard Primary with our Year 6 leavers concert, awards ceremony and a Litchard tradition - Campcraft! 🏕️🍕🔥 Well done to all our award winners 👏👏👏 We are very proud of you.
Tomorrow you may notice a few changes around the school. On the roofs of the Infant and Junior buildings we have had solar panels fitted. These will make the school self sufficient for electrical energy over the next few years.
